Beautiful ring, I love that it's so delicate. Slightly too big, but that's due to my ordering the wrong size, and I can wear it on other fingers without a problem. Very happy with my purchase :)

I fell in love with this ring when I first saw it on Etsy. After wearing it for a few days I can say it has definitely lived up to my expectations. It's amazing that Apache Moon only uses recycled and reclaimed metals. Also had a long talk with Nita and she was always very friendly and welcoming. Great shopping experience!

It is very important that we have a valid address on you. Please check the Etsy address for accuracy and if you pay via PayPal, Please, PLEASE make sure they match. *** I will ship to one of those addresses in default.

HOW YOU WANT IT SHIPPED:
We will probably send your purchase any way you like. If USPS First Class Mail Parcel/Package is not what you want, we are happy to ship Priority or Express, just let me know before purchase if you think of it. If not, I can make a separate listing to upgrade the shipping after purchase.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I am delighted to ship internationally!
Some things to note are:
1.) It may take an extra day or so for me to get to town to post the package.

2.) We do not know the tax or postal laws for your country. You may need to pay taxes on your purchase once it gets to you. You may have postal depot fees - especially in the UK now. Please check to see what those fees and taxes are before you order.

3.) We will no be responsible for any taxes or fees imposed upon your package by your country or your country's Customs office, Postal Depot, or Tax Department or any other that I don't even know enough about to get into the list.



LOST PACKAGE:
We are not responsible for uninsured packages lost in the mail unless we have not addressed it as you have shown it in Etsy.
I do usually put delivery confirmation on US packages so we can tell where they are, but seldom insurance, unless you have purchased insurance.


SO YOU WILL KNOW:
We are in the country and our post office is a 10 mile trip from us. (20 round trip) We don't like to go everyday. International packages must be taken to the post office.
Our post office closes it's doors around midday on Friday and reopens on Monday. This means your package will not leave my town from Friday to Monday.

I truly do all I can to make this transparent to my customers and I hope it does not inconvenience any one of you!


WHEN WE WILL SHIP IT:
We try to ship within a couple of weeks from the time an item is purchased.
If it is an item that has to be made, (most of ours are), I will email to let you know how long we expect that to take. Most things are made, packed and mailed in 5 to 10 business days. Exceptions occur, especially when materials have to be ordered to make your item.

Occasionally, we have orders that keep us busy for a few days before we can start on your order. We do them as they come in and it could delay your order a bit. I would apologize for that, but the truth is that we wish we had more of the large orders that would keep us that busy. :)

RUSH ORDERS:
If you have a jewelry emergency - a deadline - and need us to work nights or weekends to get your order done more quickly, we can usually do that. Please contact me directly to add the Rush charges and the expedited shipping to your order BEFORE you make the purchase. This lets us agree on the charges and the timeline before we commit. :) {You must be willing to upgrade shipping for this too. (we don't make a profit on shipping.) }
Refunds and Exchanges
I do love custom work. It is frequently more interesting and more fun that standard pieces. I enjoy working to help you realize something dreamed up and stored in your head! It is rewarding. I just don't want it back later. :)
Please do not return custom made items. Once we have designed a piece and made it to your specifications, and in your size, we will not want it back. Since we are not a big retail store, we can't just put it on a shelf and hope someone else will like it and buy it. (and those stores do not usually even make custom jewelry.)

We will always stand behind our work. If you want to return something (that is not custom) from our shop FOR ANY REASON... please do. Returns should be made immediately (as opposed to after you have worn it for a week or so). Just contact us to let us know and be sure we will refund or exchange before you send it. In some cases, you will be responsible for shipping and possibly the fees we paid to sell it and there may be an additional 15% restock fee (especially on one of a kind items.)

Please do not keep it for a while and then return it. It should be in new condition and returned within a week of it's receipt.

CANCELLATIONS: We have quite a lot of paper work and bookkeeping involved in a cancellation that looks so simple! Actually Etsy does not let me cancel a transaction unless the entire amount has been refunded. It costs us the listing fees to put the items back out there and it costs us the labor and some of the fees we pay to sell the items in the first place are not refunded to us upon cancellations. As a result of all of this, we have begun to charge 15% plus the relisting fees on immediate cancellations too.

REPAIRS:
If an item needs repair, we will probably do it at no charge for the first dozen years or so.

RESIZING RINGS:
I am usually happy to resize your ring UP to a LARGER size. Maybe 1/2 size or even a full size once in a while on certain rings. Please cntact about your specific ring.
Often, it is difficult to impossible for me to size one Down to a smaller size.
I know lots of people order them as gifts with the intention of sending them back to be resized later. That is okay with me, actually! Just please do bear this Larger vs Smaller thing in mind when you order the size.

There is seldom a charge for sizing one up 1/4 to 1/2 size the first time.
There will probably be a charge of at least $15 to cut one down. (this can vary significantly) Please do contact us because some cannot be cut down.

MAILING ANY PACKAGE TO US:
* Please be sure to put the item into a safe, sturdy box before packing,
* put the box into a bubble envelope or wrap well in bubble wrap
* include a note telling me who you are (both name and username) and why you have sent the item to us (even if you have emailed about it. It will help when another person receives the mail.) *** the note is not optional.
* Please mail it as a package with full postage paid and with TRACKING on the package. Tracking is just delivery confirmation on First Class US mail.
* Please DO NOT send COD or with postage due. (we would have to drive 20 miles to pick up a package with postage due.)
If this is a return, Please mail it back within 3 to 5 working days of receipt of the piece.

I will try to answer convos once per day. (This is new.) We have found that more time was being spent in the office than with the torch. Our time is limited because so much of our day is devoted to the care of the animals. We do hope you will understand and that you will not be inconvenienced by this.

PHOTOS
I do not plan to go take pictures. Please know that for a little request (where you are thinking maybe 5 minutes) ...
I would have to
• walk the to the shop, (through the woods so no driving)
• locate each of the stones,
• pull out all of the stones,
• find a proper reflective background(s)
• try for good light
• take 15 or 20 shots in various lights and backgrounds
• put each stone back into it's place
• Walk back to the house
• upload the photos
• resize and download the pictures
• go through them carefully to try to find the ones that are probably the most accurate representation
• choose up to 3 of them
• email you and attach them

It is not a snap. If you REALLY have need of the pictures, I can do it, but I would like to know you really do need them before giving up this much time and energy to it. I could spend that time making jewelry or tending the animals (both of which are fun.)

Every original handmade Apache Moon piece comes with a studio card identifying the artist and materials. If there is a reasonable way of signing it, each piece is signed. Almost every purchase is gift wrapped. (If you need any special sort of gift wrapping, I will probably enjoy doing it for you. Just let me know.)

We are all smoke free - even the cats, possum, horses and dogs! There is one little raccoon who is a little suspicious and we frequently think she may have been smoking something. :)
