If you have any questions about an item, please ask prior to purchasing it so that you know exactly what to expect when you place an order. If, after receiving your item, you are unhappy with it, please contact me and I will do whatever I can to remedy the situation, but please remember that, unless the reason for the return was my fault, return shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

I make every effort to ensure the safe delivery of your items. If something arrives damaged, I will replace it upon return of the damaged item. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable.

I accept payment through PayPal. If you prefer to pay using another method, please let me know!

Shipping
SHIPPING
I make every effort to ensure the safe delivery of your items. If something arrives damaged, I will replace it upon return of the damaged item. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable.

All of my cards and 8x10 prints are shipped in a protective sleeve and secured between two pieces of thick recycled cardboard. Shipping weight is approximately 3-4 ounces.

Most orders are shipped USPS First-Class mail, unless otherwise noted. If you would like to upgrade to a faster shipping method and/or would like to purchase shipping insurance or tracking, please let me know.

International shipping is available for all of my items. To provide the best shipping price for you, please contact me for a custom quote.

PACKAGING
As stated above, your finished project will be shipped via First Class mail, unless otherwise requested. I care very much about your items arriving safely, so they will be packaged securely; but I also care very much about the environment, and I am concerned about the amount of waste that is produced on a daily basis, particularly in the United States. For this reason, your order will be packaged with recycled materials, and I ask that you please recycle them in turn. If your order contains a gift item, or otherwise requires attractive packaging, I will certainly do that for you, but the materials protecting it inside will be recycled paper, plastic bags, or cardboard. My jewelry, for example, will come in a pretty handmade box, nestled securely within tissue paper that might have previously cushioned new shoes from a local retailer. It just doesn’t make sense to me to throw out perfectly usable materials only to purchase the same materials as new, so that I can send them to you to be thrown out. Where’s the logic in that, right?

Please help the earth and recycle too!

CUSTOM REQUESTS
I love to be part of the creative process that culminates in the perfect handmade item for yourself, or as a gift for someone special. In addition to the custom listings in my shop, you may also request custom portraits, original artwork, tattoo designs, note cards, signs, jewelry, or any other unique item. To request a custom item, just send me a message through my Etsy shop or email me at DawnGreeneArt[at]gmail.com

*Please note that if you commission me to make a custom portrait (person or pet), you are giving me permission to use the photographs you supply to me for reference material. I may create a portrait exactly like the photograph or only use it for inspiration; either way, I retain the right to use the finished drawing or painting in my portfolio as a sample of my work, unless you specifically request otherwise BEFORE I begin working on the project. You can rest assured that I would never use your name or any other identifying information in my portfolio.

For most custom orders I will accept payment upon completion, before shipping. Sometimes, however, I require a 50% deposit upon approval and acceptance of a final draft and before I begin actual production.

I retain all rights to my designs unless otherwise arranged. You may not reproduce any of my work in any form unless you have purchased the rights to do so.

I strive for complete customer satisfaction. It is most important to me to make my art and make you happy, so please do not hesitate to contact me for any reason.

I'm very thankful to all of the wonderful people who have entrusted me with the special memories, stories, and significance behind the custom art I have made for them.

DEADLINES
My deadlines are as important to me as they are to you and are inviolate as much as real life allows. I will do everything I can to have your completed project in your hands by the promised date. If you need something right away, please inquire before purchasing; if I am able to accommodate your deadline, I will be happy to do it!

CANCELLATIONS
Because I want to be flexible with payments, I must also protect myself when it comes to unexpected cancellations. If I have put a considerable amount of time or expense into a custom order that is suddenly cancelled, I may require partial payment; however, I do understand that life happens, so I prefer to work these details out on an individual basis. If you have any questions, please ask!
