Announcement   Welcome to Apocryphal Productions.

What does that mean, exactly? Well, "apocryphal" is a fancy way of saying "This isn't official, but we wish it were", and I think that's a good way to look at hand-crafting: nothing is really the definitive version, but everything's interesting and nifty enough that we wish it could be!

Everything in the Apocryphal Productions shop is kept in a smoke-free environment. Here's hoping you find something you like.

If you're interested, my blog is located at http://in-her-web/blog-city.com.

Shipped the day I ordered it and was in my mailbox a day later! The pattern was easy to follow; I've never even tried cross stitch before, but with this and a couple of YouTube videos I was able to make a beautiful present for my husband. It looks great and I'm so proud of it!

I liked the color and the pattern. Gave to my Ukranian daughter-in-law and she was very pleased

These shipped super fast, and are just incredibly cute! These were a gift, but I would not hesitate to purchase some for myself in the future. Great craftsmanship.

At Apocryphal Productions, we pride ourselves on quality and good craftsmanship. Every item you buy will be made to the best of our artisans' abilities; if there are flaws, they'll be fixed rather than being pawned off as "unique" or "quirky". We use the best materials we can find, and we'll work with you to make sure whatever you get is exactly what you want.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Buy with Apple Pay
  • Pay with Sofort
  • Pay with iDeal
  • Accepts Etsy gift cards

Payment
We accept PayPal, personal checks, and cash or money orders. If you're not satisfied with your item, you'll receive a full refund less the cost of consumed materials; if you have to cancel an order, you'll receive one-half of your original payment, less materials. Items for which you provide materials will be cheaper, as we'll only have to charge for our artists' time (and we'll be delighted to return any unused materials with the finished item). We'll deal with applicable sales taxes, but we regret that we have to charge for shipping.
Shipping
While we'll be happy to make arrangements for any shipping method you'd like, in general we send our packages via US mail. If you want insurance on your package or delivery confirmation, just let us know so we can figure those costs into your shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
For generic items from our shop, we are happy to make exchanges but we regret that we can't accept returns. If your item is late, however, you'll receive a full refund, including materials costs--we make this hard on ourselves to make sure we hit all our deadlines! If we can't make an arrangement for a realistic deadline with you, we won't take the commission, period; failing a meteor hitting our workshop or the fall of civilization, you'll get your item on time.

Custom items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are completely unsuitable for your needs and it's OUR FAULT. If you tell us your measurements based on more wishful thinking than a measuring tape and we produce a garment for you that would fit the measurements you gave us, you're stuck with it even if it doesn't actually fit YOU. On the other hand, if WE get your measurements mixed up with those of another client, that's our fault and we'll replace the item or refund your money at your option.
Additional policies and FAQs
All that said, we're really not as hard-nosed as all that. We love making things, and we want to make them for you. We try to keep our prices reasonable while still paying for our time and skill; we want to make sure you're delighted with every item you purchase from us.

We can make arrangements for gift wrapping, personal notes and so forth, but there may be additional charges. If you need to contact us, send a convo to set up the best method of contact for you.

We don't expect you to leave feedback the very instant your deal with us is done, but we would appreciate it if you'd say something nice about any positive experience you may have with us.

The allergic may wish to note that our workshop has cats in it, but we don't smoke and don't allow others to.
