Announcement    Welcome to Apple and Azalea!
Here you find an ever-changing selection of accessories made with a wide variety of materials. Upcycled buttons and t-shirts, chain, leather, and of course beads, beads, beads!
My shop started just as a way for me to list pictures of my rosary bracelets online so that existing customers could get a feel for other possible designs. I have since added other types of items and hope to keep expanding my inventory as I find time to try new creative things! Keep checking back every once in a while.

A lot of my business remains special orders. If you don't see what you like or have something special in mind just email. Favorite colors, birthstones, and wedding party color schemes are all request I have had in the past.

About AppleandAzalea

Sales 594
On Etsy since 2007

Well, Here We All Are

I have enjoyed the arts my whole life - always sketching, writing, or making something. But it was 12 years ago, when I made my first rosary bracelet, that things really started to take off. Since then I have expanded into all kinds of jewelry and even further into other crafts.

I live with my husband and six children in a "cozy" old house in the country. Life in rural NH with 6 kids is certainly an adventure! When you are an active, creative family there is never a dull (rarely even a quiet) moment! I use this shop as motivation to keep doing creative things myself whenever possible and to force some order on the chaos :) Following this path not only allows me to nurture my own artistic talents, but also gives me the freedom to support my husband and kids as they develop and nurture theirs. It also gives me an oportunity to interact with local shops and artisans in person and online. Win-Win-Win!!
Most of my work happens at my "Bead Table" - a small 10' x 6' area where I have set up an L shaped work station from floor to ceiling. It sort of resembles the Weasley's house in Harry Potter because it grew organically, new parts being cobbled on as the need arose or the parts were found. Also, it's usually an unsightly mess because I work mostly by trial and error. I rarely set out with plans or instructions, preferring to put beads together and rearrange the pattern until I am satisfied. At the end of a project I start to put everything back in its place, but usually only get 90% done before I am inspired again and out come the drawers and boxes all over again!

Returns and exchange details
After receiving your order, if you change your mind or want to try something different, I will gladly exchange items for another in my shop of equal value - even special request orders. However the buyer must pay all additional shipping charges.

I stand by my work. If there is an error in your order or problem with your purchase I will absolutely make it right. Convo me immediately so I am aware of the issue and can begin to resolve it!

By law, buyers in the EU have 14 days to contact me about returns or exchanges after receiving their purchase.
Payment
I accept PayPal or Etsy checkout. For local orders I will be more than happy to arrange a pick up or to try to meet somewhere. Convo me and I can refund the shipping or relist the item you want with an adjusted shipping policy for those local pick-ups.
Shipping
When purchasing more than one listing, sometimes the shipping calculated is not accurate. I will refund any large overage, or you can simply send me a message before paying and I will issue a new invoice.

Local customers need not pay shipping (obviously) if I am hand delivering. I will refund those shipping costs. Or convo me before purchasing and I can relist the item with an adjusted shipping policy.

There are multiple choices for shipping available. I will ship from my home in NH within 1-2 business days, but the time frame for delivery will depend on which shipping method you choose. With very few exceptions, all of the items I have listed are ready to ship. Custom made or out of stock items may take a week or more to ship if I do not have all the supplies on hand. I will give you an estimated ship date when you request the item.
Additional policies and FAQs
For international orders, the buyer will be responsible for any customs duties, fees or taxes.

Frequently asked questions
Wholesale availability

I am an approved Etsy Wholesale seller - ask for my line sheet! Bulk orders normally ship in 1-2 weeks. As all of my bracelets are made individually, pieces may vary even when ordered in bulk. For instance, orders including 3 x Beautiful Blue style rosary bracelets may contain two with clear seed beads and one with copper colored seed beads, or one may have different Our Father beads.

Custom and personalized orders

Absolutely love to fill custom orders. Tell me what you are thinking and I will come up with options and we can take it from there.

Sizing details

Memory wire bracelets are one size fits all. Most of my rosaries are on 2 1/4 " wire and are appropriate for all adult sizes.
Occasionally I list "Smaller Size" rosaries, which I used to call "Jr Size". They are made with 1 3/4" memory wire bracelet and are appropriate for very petite women, women who do not like bracelets to be loose at all, and girls up to early tweens. (Most confirmation gifts should be the regular adult size).
