How did I ever live without these? I slapped them on the fridge via the handy dandy magnet on the back. After that I just started jotting stuff down all week as it came up. Weekends I decide what to do/buy. Wa La! Thanks!

This calendars are always so thoughtful and adorable. Can’t wait to put it on my desk next year!
Hi! We are Loïc and Leo, creators of Apredart.
Loïc is a swiss illustrator who has been drawing since he was a little kid: he would draw on napkins, school notebooks and pretty much any piece of paper that he found. One day he accidentally stepped on a pin, and thought: “wow, that hurt even though it’s very small. I can’t imagine how much that would’ve hurt if I was small like a mouse!”
Funny as it sounds, that’s how he came up with the idea of Rikiki, the cute little mouse who likes to interact with the real world. Later on he decided to draw a friend for him, but not another mouse. Instead, he came up with a giraffe named Kimali.
The idea behind Rikiki, Kimali and their friends, is to create a world full of happiness and joy, to remind everyone of the nice things that life has to offer, and hopefully put a smile on people’s faces.
Leo, on the other hand, is a mexican designer and marketer. He’s been friends with Loïc since they met in a small town in Mexico, and together decided to start the journey of Apredart, creating illustrated objects for the every day life, hoping to bring the joy of Rikiki and his friends into people’s homes.
After months of planning, sketching and testing different things, we decided to quit our day jobs and focus full time on doing what we love the most. It is thanks to the support of amazing people like you that we can continue following our dream and passion.
Today, we have a small multi-cultural team that makes it possible for us to ship orders from the USA or Switzerland, depending on the customer's location.
We hope that Rikiki, Kimali and the rest of their friends will bring as much joy to you as they have brought to us!

Loïc is a self-taught illustrator who created Rikiki, a cute little mouse, and his friend Kimali, a fun giraffe that used to be trapped in a Zoo. Loïc loves traveling and trying new food from all over the world (even some super extreme stuff!)
Leo is a designer and marketer. He loves coming up with ideas for new designs and products, and works together with Loïc to bring them to life. He's also a huge fan of pizza and thinks that there's no better place to vacation than the beach.
Jericka is an amazing full time teacher in Texas, but on her spare time she is in charge of making each US order look beautiful before it ships!
Marcelle is an incredible nurse, but she is also a big part of Apredart. She handles orders that come from Europe, and makes sure they're all pretty before they ship!

Frequently asked questions
Where are you located?
We are a small multi-cultural team, integrated by people from the US, Switzerland and Mexico.
We travel a lot, but thanks to Jericka (USA) and Marcelle (Switzerland) we can ship from the USA or Europe, depending on the customer's location.
The idea behind that is to reduce shipping costs for everyone, and make sure the orders arrive faster.
If you're interested in placing wholesale orders or have a shop where you would like to sell our products, please message us and we will offer you a discount based on the quantity of items.
How are your products created?
All of our products are illustrated using our own characters, created by Loïc Apreda, and drawn by hand using pens, pencils and watercolor.
To be able to create items with them, we digitize the images and use different printing techniques depending on the item. We work hard on finding the right materials to make each product unique.
Our products are handmade with love by talented crafters and small workshops in Mexico, the US and Europe, since we don't have the equipment to make everything ourselves.
We personally wrap each item with care to make sure it arrives safe, and to make you feel the love and effort behind each order.
Who are your characters?
We have 3 main characters, though eventually we invite some new ones to participate.
Rikiki: he's a cute little mouse who loves eating (big surprise, huh?) and making new friends. He's always trying to find the good side of things, and he enjoys life to the fullest.
Kimali: she's a giraffe that used to live in a Zoo, until one day she was able to escape thanks to Rikiki's help, and have been traveling the world since then to see everything she missed before. When she's not traveling, she loves to join RIkiki for lunch.
Latchoo: she's a cute moose who is always distracted and gets lost so easily. Sometimes she goes for a walk, and ends up in the most unexpected places, but that's led to her meeting new people and amazing places.
