Never Leaving a Treasure Behind.

I started Apricot Vintage honestly to prevent my household from being annoyed at all the junk that I continually bring home and to keep hoarding at bay.
My first job in St. Louis as a teen was working at a thrift store, and from there I've worked in consignment shops, vintage shops, antique shops, cleaned estates, and frequented the same thrift haunts from Chicago to St. Louis and back again.
Being a middle kid raised by a mother who constantly curated little collections of tchotchkes throughout my childhood, and a father who collects vintage cars, I'm sure it's a combination of compulsion, empathy, obsession, and insecurity that keeps me surrounded by all this old junk!
Although there is no brick & mortar shop, I can regularly be found throughout Chicago slingin' goods at pop-up vintage sales.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! Please have a look and feel free to ask any questions you might have.

I've worked in thrift, vintage and estate sales my whole life. For the things that are too amazing to leave behind at the thrift store, flea market, or estate sale I've created Apricot Vintage.

I do my very best to accurately describe each and every piece and the condition that it is in. I measure all articles of clothing laying flat, so by doubling that number when applicable, you will get an accurate measurement of the item. I am always happy to answer any questions, provide additional detailed photographs and information on any piece before you make a purchase.

Apricot Vintage has taken The Honest Vintage Pledge: Everything that I have tagged as vintage in my shop is at least twenty years old or older. I stake my reputation on it. I will never knowingly sell a fake or a repro knockoff to my customers.
