*All aprons are made from a single layer of fabric! Please note that all fabrics used are not of the same weight although they are 100% cotton. I choose fabrics that I love by design and color. If an apron is made of a lighter weight cotton fabric it is noted in the description and under materials used.

My grandmother couldn't buy much for her grandkids in the 1960s, but at Xmas she would trim bargain washcloths with lovely crochet work for all of us. My prissy big sister saved some of these, of course, and framed them in a shadowbox with a photo of Mamaw. I always used mine till they unraveled.

This hot pad is so beautiful & so well made... you can tell as soon as you open & pick it up that it has quality through & through. This shop was started to provide an income so that I could take care of my mom.
I am currently a caregiver for my mother who is recovering from a rare sinus cancer. I am glad I have a way to share with you my work and have to opportunity to do what I love every day!!
My two favorite passions are fabric and yarn. I must have tons of both! I have been crocheting and sewing since I was a teenager, thanks to both of my grandmothers! One made my Barbie doll clothes and the other could crochet anything! Very inspiring! Learning from them I felt that I was carrying on a tradition that need not be forgotten!
I love functional items. I think that is why I started making purses and now have branched out to aprons, napkins and potholders...and so much more! I love the process of combining colors and patterns. Plus having something that is handmade is always special!
