I love the look of ginkgo leaves. This is especially wonderful. I plan to frame it in glass & hang it in our bedroom where we also have a leather tooled ginkgo light switch plate. Thank you so much.
Can't stop the art!
There is only so much art or jewelry you can make for friends and family before you have to start looking outward. I started this shop with papercut bookmarks and a few polymer clay items, but I knew it would expand somehow over the years.
Every item in my shop is made by me with my own hands.
I was a librarian for several years, with some money for creating but only after working hours. After I was laid off in the Great Recession, I did odd jobs and studied Graphic Design. I am finally a librarian again, but still trying find out what will make my Etsy shop appeal to buyers.
Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator
While teaching English as a Foreign Language in Taiwan, the Republic of China and in Japan, I was surrounded by papercutting art and other arts. After returning to the U.S., I discovered polymer clay, then bead embroidery.
My primary style is a kind of arabesque: Decorative ornamentation of interlacing curves and flowing lines based on fruit, floral, and animal symbols.
Phyllomania is the excessive love of leaves. :)
I have done other styles for custom orders that requested other styles.
My main materials or interests are paper cutting and patterns, polymer clay and beading.
