I was the kid who couldn’t draw to save her life. Everything that bled out of my pen looked like a pile of elephants - no matter what it was supposed to be - unless of course I was trying to draw a pile of elephants. Then it just looked like a pile of Jabba the Hutt.

I never considered myself an artist; however, in retrospect, I’d say I did always have a huge imagination - especially when it came to writing. Words were like different colored crayons for me, with various shapes, consistencies and rules. Silence was like a giant empty white canvas, just waiting for me to splash some color onto it.

Given my long history with large mammalians, I think it was totally understandable that I met my initial interest in silversmithing with some skepticism. Forming metal isn’t quite like drawing, but there’s gotta be some carrying over...right?

Fortunately for me, I was wrong. As soon as I got my hands on my first piece of blank silver sheet, I felt a strong energetic connection that fired my imagination. The fluidity with which I have always been able to play with words somehow transferred to this hunk of metal. For the first time in my life I felt absolutely comfortable expressing myself artistically through a physical medium.

The journey of learning how to work with silver has been a fascinating one. I began teaching myself about the various properties of silver - everything from how to melt it, to how to polish it. I also discovered just how many chemicals most modern day silversmiths use in making jewelry. It's really quite disturbing.

There's something called a "pickle pot" that halts oxidation after heating silver, which releases incredibly toxic fumes. An accidental splash onto your clothes will leave you with a very "holy" shirt. When I read about the standard equipment required to make silver jewelry, I had to seriously reconsider my decision. Do I really want to expose myself to all these toxic chemicals?

I did more research to find unconventional substitutes to things like "pickle pots" (heated vinegar and salt....I kid you not), and have built a workspace for myself that is both healthy and a joy to create in. Much of my non-toxic setup is reflected onto my jewelry design; I always fuse pure silver together with heat alone, which results in more organic, unusual pieces.

My jewelry reflects my energy at the time of creation. Whether I'm in zen mode from hearing the rain outside my window, or feeling spastic from an aggressive bike ride, I love channeling that energy into whatever piece of silver I am working with - and silver is such a wonderful conductor. It absorbs my energy like a dry sponge throughout the entire creative process, and reflects it back like a child might return a smile.

This journey has been filled with new discoveries and challenges, and I’m happy to be able to share my work with you!

I sculpt recycled precious metals into distressed and minimalist designs using 100% nontoxic forging methods.

I make every piece you see in this shop with my own hands. Many hours go into conceptualizing a design, figuring out how to create it, and then actually crafting it. No two pieces are the same, since I do not use any molds. Every piece you see here is hammered, sawed, drilled, filed, melted, and twisted by hand. (Please note that chains and spring clasps are not crafted by me, unless specifically stated as such.)

I don't use any harmful chemicals in the creation of my pieces. No flux, no borax, no liver of sulphur, no caustic abrasives, no cadmium, nothing toxic. 100% of my pure silver and gold rings are fused together with ONLY fire. 100% of my oxidized silver pieces use natural sulfur from boiled eggs. My pickle pot for gold and sterling silver is made from vinegar and salt. I use organic beeswax for my saw blades and pine tree oil for my tools. I hate toxic chemicals and NEVER use them.

I do not solder any of my pieces - I ONLY fuse them, which maintains the purity of the metal.

Sometimes I may be able to cut down my processing time - if you are in a hurry, send me a convo before placing your order to double check if my schedule can accommodate.

By placing an order from outside the United States, you are accepting full responsibility for customs regulations in your own country, including any local government taxes and/or duties that may apply to importing jewelry. Here is a link that provides some information about importing items from the US: Please contact your local customs department for more specific information, as this link is a general reference and may not always be up to date. All international packages will have the correct amount declared on the customs form. I will not mark an order as a gift, even if you ask really nicely =)
Additional policies and FAQs
If you are looking for high polish, perfectly straight edges and zero evidence of human touch, then I am not your gal. Some general features that you should expect from my pieces include distressed textures, lines that aren't straight, hidden yet visible fuse points, etc. I do not try to hide the fact that my pieces are handmade - I highlight this fact. If you take delight in these features, then I will be THRILLED to create a piece just for you.

I keep a fair amount of gemstones in stock, so if you really want a piece using an alternate stone, just ask and I'll let you know if I have it on hand.

Frequently asked questions
Ring sizing

Please be sure of your ring size when placing a custom order. A 1/2 size adjustment is understandable and I will not charge for it (I only ask that you cover one-way shipping); however, for any adjustment greater than 1/2 of a size: the first adjustment costs 25% the value of the ring, and any adjustments after that will be 100% the cost of the ring.

If possible, try to get sized with a band that has a similar width to the ring you will be purchasing from me, since wider rings fit differently than thinner ones. If you only have access to a thin/wide ring sizer, please let me know the approximate width so I can compensate for the difference.

Here is a re-usable ring sizer available for purchase:

Pure silver vs sterling silver

● Pure silver is hypoallergenic. Since pure silver has virtually zero impurities, people with various metal sensitivities can wear my pure silver jewelry without having an allergic skin reaction.
● Pure silver is softer than sterling silver. My pure silver rings are hardened enough to withstand normal everyday wear; however, focused high pressure will warp pure silver, and should be avoided. For example, it's best to take your ring off when moving heavy furniture.
● Pure silver looks more "white" than sterling silver. This is because there are no other metals mixed in to diminish its .999 purity (versus sterling's .925 purity).
● Pure silver tarnishes slower than sterling.

Does oxidization wear off?

Yes, oxidization (dark finish) naturally wears off over time. Avoiding chemicals and abrasives (hot tubs, chlorinated pools, rubbing) could help keep the dark finish for a few months; otherwise, it can fade in just a couple weeks. The oxidized parts that are carved into silver will remain dark, as these areas are less exposed to abrasives.

If you would like to re-oxidize your ring, please send me a convo and I'll return instructions on how to do so using the very simple boiled egg method.

Please note that the dark finish is not BLACK, instead it is more of a dark gray. Sometimes a bluish undertone is also present in the oxidization.

Men's / Women's items

Every single one of my pieces are UNISEX, however I do sometimes include the terms “Men’s” and “Women’s” in my item titles. Some people are not aware that Men’s rings use the same exact sizing scale as Women’s rings - I want to make sure I am included in search results where people are specifying gender.

I also use these terms when I feel a wide/thin design may physically fit one gender better, since men are on average thicker than women. However, these are just arbitrary assignments, so please don’t take my use of the words “Men’s” and “Women’s” to mean anything beyond what may apply to a very averagely sized person. Some women are thick, some men are thin, some are a different gender entirely; and everyone has their own preferences :)

Gift wrapping and packaging

Every order is elegantly gift wrapped. There are no receipts or business cards inside of the box, so you can safely gift as is. I’ve spent a lot of time perfecting my packaging design, gathering recycled and plant-based materials from eco-friendly sources. I wrap everything myself to create the best unraveling experience.

Additionally, I do offer an artisan solid wood jewelry box as an add-on item in my shop ( It's the perfect mini treasure chest to present your gift and keep it safe for years to come.

Shipping insurance

Shipping insurance is automatically included for all orders. Additionally, orders totaling over $250 will be shipped with Signature Required. There is no extra fee to you for these services beyond what you'll already be paying for shipping.

Will the texture change on my ring?

If it's one of my pure silver rings, then absolutely yes! This is what I LOVE about pure silver - every victory, lesson, and adventure in your life gets imprinted onto the radiant metal. Some of the deeper textures will remain on the band, and some of the superficial textures will fade away. Your life story will be added to the canvas as you journey along :)
