Whether it is copper or silver I am working in the two constants are patience and time. Time to learn new processes, time to implement them, and the patience to take a flat sheet, sink it into a wood block, the raise it around a metal stake. Forming metal takes little more than patience and time. However, for all of its simplicities when people ask me how long it took to make a piece I may respond with 18 years... learning how to manipulate the metal or curve it the way you want without tearing it also takes time, patience and time.

One of my favorite things to do in the world is to sit in from of my anvil, hammer in hand bringing shape and beauty out of sheet stock. The ability to create beautiful things what will adorn your home is what I was put on this earth for, and I am glad you have chosen to follow me, whether that is just to see the beautiful creations I make, or to purchase them to keep, I appreciate you visiting!

Archmaille Designs story starts around the year 2000 where I fell in love with chainmail that I learned to make at a youth church camp. I've always had an odd obsession with hammers, and it was this obsession that brought me to the passion of silversmithing. Making things out of copper and silver hand raising and hammering is where my passion lies.

It is through this business and what I make with it that I want to reach the community of Parkville Missouri where I live and work, and bless the people of the community.
