Welcome to arclay - where architecture meets clay.

The name arclay combines these two elements, reflecting a commitment to exploring architectural form through the warmth and imperfection of natural materials.

Each piece is handmade, drawing on the structure of architecture while embracing the organic, emotional qualities of nature. Through ceramics, arclay expresses the subtle dialogue between people and the spaces they inhabit - timeless, tactile, and grounded in human experience.

arclay was founded by architect Lin Liu in 2022 after returning to China from Germany. The studio is based in Jingdezhen, the historic heart of Chinese porcelain.
