Our Journey Creating Sustainable Style for the Environmentally-Conscious Consumer

Steve and I are both entrepreneurs at heart and quickly discovered that we have a passion for wood and our environment. We spent many days dreaming about ideas and of starting our own business. In 2009 that dream became a reality.

What began as a hobby has blossomed into a thriving business of bliss located in Dayton, Ohio. With increased concerns about our environment, we took up the challenge and looked to nature for inspiration. A Remark You Made was created with one goal in mind: to offer eco-friendly and sustainable products to the environmentally-conscious consumer at an affordable price. We create pieces truly useful and unique in our daily lives and specialize in eco-friendly wood tree branch buttons for fiber artists and crafters, nature-inspired wood compasses and gifts, earth-friendly jewelry, and sustainable products for green weddings and the home.

With my artistic background and marketing expertise and Steve's woodworking skills, we began to develop our line of earth-friendly products. By marrying our strengths, we are able to create sustainable products that provide lovely green accessories and embellishments full of rustic charm without sacrificing style and elegance. These are honest products. Each piece is unique.

We manufacture all products internally, ensuring quality control. A Remark You Made maintains its competitive edge through excellent customer service and communication, a personal touch with every order, innovative sustainable products, fast shipping, and beautifully hand-wrapped packaging.

We believe that one becomes rich when you do something you are passionate about. We value our customers, and we feel truly blessed that we get to share our passion with you.

We are proud to announce that our products have been featured in Bride & Bloom and Winery Weddings in Virginia. Our products are also sold at local shops and shows.

Each item is handmade, so no two pieces can be identical. This adds to the character and uniqueness of each item. Please allow for slight differences.

All sales are final. All Items are sold ‘As Is’ with no warranty expressed or implied. We have described the item(s) as accurately as we can, so please inspect the photos closely.

The buyer assumes all responsibility and all liability for their purchased items. The Seller will not be held responsible or liable for any liability, injuries or damage as a result of the buyer purchasing or using any items sold by this seller.
We accept Paypal and most major credit cards. Payment is due at the time your order is placed.
We will ship to your ETSY address unless otherwise noted. Please make sure your ETSY address is correct. We will process and ship your item(s) in approximately 2-3 business days once your payment has cleared. Custom orders will ship in approximately 2-3 weeks. We will do everything we can to ensure that your item(s) arrive safely.

Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer and will depend upon buyer's location, and the weight and size of item to be shipped. Most items are shipped First Class or Priority Mail through the US Postal Service. Most in-stock items ship within 2-3 business days. If you need express shipping, please contact us for options and additional fees prior to purchasing.

Please be aware that tracking and insurance are not included in the posted shipping fees. We do recommend adding insurance, as we cannot be responsible for items once they are turned over to the post office. Insurance is approximately $1.75 for purchases up to $50.00. Insurance is inexpensive and customers wishing to insure shipments or add tracking for a small fee should notify seller prior to purchase. Insurance and/or tracking fee(s) will be added to invoice.

PLEASE NOTE: We will not mark international packages as a "gift" on custom forms. Please do not ask as this is mail fraud.
