How It All Began :)
How it all started........
So this isn't the most interesting story you will ever read. There is no prince charming that found my glass slipper after a ball, no magic bean stocks and definitely no sleeping beauties (because what crafter sleeps?).
It all started with a little boredom and a scrap piece of fabric. I decided one day to try and make a flower using left over material from a hemmed dress, it turned out really well for my first go at it. My mom (#1 sales lady) decided that she wanted to wear it as a brooch to work the next morning. Afternoon comes around and I get a call from my mom saying "you better start making flowers, I have orders from ladies at work". So first I was like, "What are you talking about? What flowers? Okay, how many do I need to make?". By the end of the day because my mom wore my flower I made out of scrap material to work, I now had many flowers to make!!!
Today, I have expanded from making handmade flowers to also making modern sleep masks, lavender eye pillows, cosmetic bags, totes, re-usable facial rounds, as well as some other goodies.
April, 2012, Aren't You Fancy! Handmade Accessories was created and my biggest goal I had set for myself was to be a vendor at the One of a Kind Spring Show in Toronto, ON, CAN., which I accomplished in March 2014!!!
