I knew I'd love it but I absolutely love it!!! It's so pretty! Just like everything I've ordered from this shop! Arleene is so nice and I know I'll be ordering again soon! Shipping was quick and packaging was secure and fabulous! (thanks for the refund AND the mint!) ;))

About

Aspiring to create memorable jewelry that will inspire you and reflect your inner essence.

I want to design and define your custom jewelry with quality workmanship at a fair price. I'm dedicated to your total satisfaction.

I have a studio in my home that is reserved for creating, however sometimes I feel confined and restricted in that space. So I've been trying to change the room around so I will feel more comfortable in there. Presently my creativity flows more naturally on my side porch with the radio playing and where I am surrounded on three sides by the natural beauty of the landscape of my country home.

When working my beaded designs I treat the thread with bees wax. The wax not only makes the thread easier to work with, but it also holds the intricate beadweave designs better. The other benefit of treating the thread is that it makes it more durable by keeping the threads from fraying. I also pass the thread through most beads two times which adds to the designs durability. This is one of the reasons my bead work will endure the test of time.

Because the thread is treated, your own natural body heat relaxes the thread and the design will lay flat within a short span of time. You can also cover the bead work with a towel and use a light steam setting on your iron and low heat for a short time to make the thread relax quicker.

As far as the metals that I work with (whether chain, wire, components, etc), I strive to use the best quality. I know that some people have allergic reactions to particular metals and that is why I avoid using nickel and lead in any of my designs. When using gold and silver plating, the base metal is brass. If I use any other type of metal in a design, I am diligent about putting that information in my items description.

I have added a new process for my plated metal components (as of January 2015). This is a special coating process adopted by the most revered jewelry designers in the market. This special treatment inhibits metals from the normal oxidation process that occurs over time. The process ensures that my designs will look like new over an even longer period of time.

Although I do everything possible to ensure my designs will last, I always send a reminder out with every order about caring for all of your jewelry whether it is my creation or it is store bought. Always remember that our own natural body oils, perfumes, deodorant, etc. break down jewelry over time. It is very important when taking your jewelry off that you take a soft cloth and gently wipe it clean to keep it beautiful for a longer period of time.

If you have any questions or a special request please feel free to contact me. I am always willing to assist where I can.

I am so glad you stopped by today and I look forward to designing your next custom creation! May you always be full of life, laughter, and love.
