About

Southwestern Style Dream Catchers

After hearing of the legend of the dream catcher, I made one for my young son who had been having nightmares. It not only worked, but all of his friends wanted one too!

I began making them for gifts, teachers, baby showers and soon got requests from neighbors and co-workers. I was amazed at the demand for them.

I have sold at craft malls and online for over 20 years; my children are now adults with large dream catchers I have made above their beds, and continue to have sweet dreams.

The traditional dream catcher was intended to protect the sleeping individual from negative dreams, while letting positive dreams through. The positive dreams would slip through the hole in the center of the dream catcher, and glide down the feathers to the sleeping person below. The negative dreams would get caught up in the web, and expire when the first rays of the sun struck them. I do not add charms in the center hole as it will block the good dreams.

I have been designing dream catchers for over 20 years, with many reporting more peaceful dreams when hanging a dream catcher.

Additional policies and FAQs
If the suede or feathers become bent during shipping or at any time, they can be carefully steamed with an iron to straighten. In the event the beads or feathers come loose, a bit of white tacky glue can be used.

Your item can also be spot cleaned with a soft damp cloth using a mild cleaner, including the feathers. Use a dry toothbrush to comb the feathers back to their natural shape.

I do not charge extra for custom orders, but require payment in full before making, and will be completed within 1-2 days. I look forward to creating that special dream catcher for you.
