About ArmadilloJacks

Sales 849
On Etsy since 2013

It's all in the name

Armadillo Jack's all started out as a weird name for a band. The hubby and I came up with it, and we took iconic things from the state that we are originally from. I grew up in Texas, and the first image that came to my mind, was the armadillo. They are everywhere! Then my husband is from Oklahoma, and his first thought was the pump-jack...those are also everywhere in OK. So it came to be Armadillo Jack's (shortened the pump jack) and we stuck with it.
I joined Etsy as a buyer first, and that is where the itch all started. I have a love and deep rooted passion for all things jewelry, and I felt like I could give my hand a try at it. It has stuck ever since, and with each new project, comes a desire to learn more and be better at my skill.
Most recently, I have tried metalsmithing, and I have found a new passion! It is such an amazing feeling to create something from scratch, and turn it into a wearable fashion. I carry with me a little sketch book, and whatever wild thing comes to mind, down in the book it goes.
As the shop progresses, the gemstones keep getting more beautiful, and the styles more daring. I am excited to see what this adventure will bring.

Care instructions

>>This is a genuine, handmade item and may have a nick/scratch/unusual shape, but this is a true one of a kind item, and not manufactured.

>>A polishing cloth is recommended to keep certain parts of the silver shiny, and from getting dirty. Please do not submerge in water or cleaners/chlorine & lay flat when not wearing. Harsh chemicals can damage your jewelry. Clean jewelry pieces after each wear with a polishing cloth, and store in a sealed bag or container to prevent further tarnishing.
