A most glorious set of tarot cards. The artwork is exquisite. Vibrant, deep, metacognitive, layered with abstraction, surrealism, poignancy. I love the interspersed black and white cards. The guidebook is sublime. Gorgeous thick card stock with nice lamination and a beautiful sturdy box draped in Carmen's divine art and poetry. Reading with this deck is like entering into a dream state in another realm, tethered firmly to yourself in this one. Can one be in love with a tarot deck? I may be with this one. This deck is stunning in every way! I've been reconnecting with my Cretan ancestry lately, and I stumbled upon these at the perfect time. The cards are sturdy and beautifully crafted. She even added a few gifts (a magnet and a postcard copy of the Sun card) as well as a thoughtful birthday note after I mentioned that these would be a birthday gift for myself. I have a dozen tarot and oracle decks, and this one is my favorite one without a doubt. I'm so grateful. :)
