About

I am an artisan at heart

Creating jewelry is my reward.
I was young when I realized that my hands would be my tools. Transforming materials, fabric, leather and clay into something beautiful always thrilled me. I got hooked to metal, learning from two friends who are metal smiths, later attended jewelry school, and since then jewelry making became a great and pleasant aspect of my life.
I am the only maker of everything @ aroluna, needless to say the bench is what I love most, and where I do my best to originate timeless adornments, often rustic and organic, sturdy but smooth, which will last for many a moon.
My intention is to create perfectly wearable jewelry which bends and molds to the body in a comfortable way. I love asymmetry, circular forms and making pieces that are sensual and bold, almost with lives of their own… you can feel their subtle weight, their sound, their touch.
At present I am leaning towards wire in its many forms, using simple ancient techniques to achieve original work.
I am also having great fun recycling my own material, gathering and transforming previously unfinished or set aside pieces and parts into new unique and amusing designs.
I am thankful for having such appreciative customers from different places of the world, who generously and kindly take the time to share with me their enthusiasm for my work. I’m quite delighted.

Welcome to Aroluna!
I create jewelry that I would wear myself.
The pieces are made by me, with sterling silver. The ones you receive may be slightly different from the ones in the photos, and will be unique, part of the beauty of handmade.
I use a macro lens for the pictures so you can see the details properly, images appear larger than they are so please, read the measurements very carefully.
I consider the sale completed once I know from you -via Etsy message, positive feedback or email- that the item has arrived safe and sound and you are happy.
I hope you enjoy the pieces I created with passion!
Hablo español si prefieres.
