Welcome! Let me share a little "about me" stuff.......

I have been actively making recycled/repurposed art for decades.

In or around 2005, my inner muse went manic... I began accumulating an awful lot of stuff that was- well- unusual. Just because I could. Mainly 'cause I can't throw anything away. Folks started calling some of my stuff art, artlike, folkart- what have you. I ran out of room everywhere. My family started calling it less kind things...;) Finding appropriate homes for my creations was becoming something of a concern .

And Then-
I started my Etsy store in 2007.

The exposure I got from Etsy lead to all sorts of doors opening for me

I have had items published in magazines (At Home in Arkansas, June 2009), the Arkansas Governor's Mansion Day Planner (2009) ,and a few other places.

I have had the great privilege of having my work carried in very nice galleries in Ar and IL. I have had some success with juried shows over the past few years in the Fine Craft and Mixed Media categories. I have been guest artist, guest lecturer, and vernacular art worshop holder in AR and IL.

All this lovely good mojo from my Etsy association. I felt compelled to let you know.

Now then. Some Nuts and Bolts. Policy Stuff. First and foremost, you should be aware that I work with mostly found items and a lot of repurposed stuff. I just come up with something I want to do by looking at the stacks of stuff availble to have something done with it. It's kind of a rule that I do not go out and buy "item number such and such" to "go with" something else. I try to use archival materials where it is appropriate and I have years of experience working with a wide variety of substates. HOWEVER, all that being said- sometimes stuff just goes awry. I have an absolute policy that you must love the stuff you acquire from me and it must hold up to its intended purpose. If something falls short- let me know and we will work something out. In the the many years I have been doing this- I have never had anyone who was unhappy that let me know about it. So. There you have it. Unequivocal Happiness!

How's that for a policy?

OK now I have to Get Busy and upgrade my shop's appearance and make this place look like I've learned something.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
If you buy something from me and it isn't what you want, you do not like it, - whatever. You can return it. Period. Notify me ASAP and we will do what is mutually agreeable to rectify the issue. Buyer may be asked to pay for shipping both ways.
A refund will be issued if that is the best alternative. I really want you to be happy.
No hard feelings.
I prefer instant payment with PayPal. It is just so very easy. I have worked with some of my customers to arrange for different options. Just convo me FIRST. OK?
I go to great extremes to ship appropriately. I usually double box fragile 3D things. I insure everything. If you have a preference on shippers- I will work with you. I usually spend more than I quote in the item description. If I do- I pick up the difference. You will never be charged more than what is stated in the listing.

I will ship out of country but each time I do that I prefer to discuss the shipping charges in advance of the purchase. Just makes life easier. Shipping 3 dimensional one-of-a kind breakable art is just hard. I have successfully sent things to Australia. That's about as far as it gets I think.
Additional policies and FAQs
Something maybe you need to know is this:
I am in an exceptionally rural location and I am at the mercy of Mother Nature when it comes to things like travel plans (i.e. going to Post Office- I consider that travel ;-). So- I ususally answer inquiries and take care of shipping rather quickly. BUT -if the creek rises and doesn't go down for a while- you just may have to wait. Not too frequent but it does happen.
