About Art By Alina Z

Alina Zalucki has been creating art ever since she could pick up a paintbrush. Alina studied studio art and psychology at Wellesley College. She also studied abroad at Goldsmith's University of London. Currently, she teaches middle school art, runs all-ages workshops at the local Artist and Craftsman, and weekly art classes at the city Recreation Center.

Alina aims to create works that will bring a sense of peace to your home. Her illustrative works focus on the quiet beauty of nature and other New England scenes. Alina also loves to paint custom pet portraits that show how truly unique and adored your pet is! Prints and functional products such as ornaments and coasters are also available from Alina’s original works of art.

When not selling on Etsy Alina loves selling her work at Boston area fairs and festivals. Be sure to follow her on Facebook to keep up with local events she sells at and workshops she runs!

    Sep 12–13

This annual event is designed to showcase the visual and performing arts in Boston. Affectionately dubbed (ähts), it began in 2003 by Mayor Thomas M. Menino and the City of Boston’s Office of Arts, Tourism and Special Events with the mission of promoting the Open Studios happening throughout the Fall in Boston’s neighborhoods. The Boston Arts Festival is now run by the organizers of the Beacon Hill Art Walk and Artists Crossing Gallery, and will launch Boston’s Arts Open Studios season featuring more than 70 juried local visual artists, craftspeople, and local musicians performing on the Waterfront Stage throughout the day. The event brings over 50,000 visitors to Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park, on Boston Harbor, where they can meet the artists and craftspeople who are there to share a wide variety of art and high-end craftwork, including painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry and sculpture, and much more.

    Beacon Hill
    BOSTON, MA

    Oct 4

Residents open up their private gardens, alleyways, and courtyards and allow artists to display and sell their artwork. It is a chance for visitors to tour the private spaces of Beacon Hill while viewing original, handmade artwork. Thousands of people attend each year. It is a free popular event in the neighborhood, with a festive atmosphere and volunteer musicians playing in various gardens throughout the day. Around 100 artists usually participate, with a variety of styles, media, and subject matter. Visitors enjoy a unique atmosphere boasting bursts of colors at the background sound of live classical, klezmer, and folk music playing in various gardens throughout the day. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Boston Cultural Council, a local agency which is funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, administrated by the Mayor’s Office of Arts + Culture.
