Australian artist; In awe of nature. Captivated by colour. Painting happiness.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi there! My name is Marielle, and I am an artist based in Sydney and Mollymook, Australia.

I have always enjoyed experimenting with art in its many forms. All my paintings are created from a place of happiness, and I take delight in each stage of the creative process!

Watercolour is the latest medium to capture my heart, with its beauty & timelessness. I also love the challenge of watercolour - it is not known as an easy medium to work with, which makes a good result all the more rewarding.

My inspirations usually come from the animals and nature surrounding me on the NSW South Coast. I especially love painting birds and Australian native wildlife, but I do not restrict myself.

ABOUT THE PRINTS
I am all about quality - from the artists' quality paints I use (Winsor and Newton Professional) for my original work, to the archival, 100% cotton, 300gsm watercolour paper I paint (and print!) on.

My prints are professionally printed by a local small business (Wall Drops in Milton, NSW), on a large format printer. This printer uses archival quality Epson HD Ultrachrome pigment inks on beautiful 308gsm 100% cotton rag watercolour paper.

The quality kick doesn't end there - what would be the point of all this attention to detail if the packaging wasn’t exceptional as well?! So, I make sure to package my prints very carefully and securely to ensure they arrive safely at their destination, and I also gift wrap each order myself in crisp white tissue paper and a royal blue satin ribbon, at no extra cost. If you would prefer to wrap the print yourself, please message me before you order or add a note to your order.

I feel my customers deserve to receive a beautifully produced and presented product. As a rule, I never compromise over quality in any aspect of my little art business.
I love to give that extra attention to detail and want my customers to feel like receiving a print from me is an *experience*, rather than just another online purchase.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

Thank you for reading, and for your support! Feel free to favourite my shop to make sure you don't miss out on new products.

Kindest wishes,
Marielle x

Frequently asked questions
How I package fine art print orders so they arrive safely:

• The print itself is neatly presented in a clear cello envelope with a backing board.
• After the print is gift wrapped, it will be then carefully secured in between two sturdy foam boards.
• The parcel is then placed in a bubble wrap lined postbag, and shipped with tracking included.

How I ship fine art print orders:

• Australian orders are shipped via Australia Post's "Parcel Post", which includes tracking.
• International orders are shipped via Australia Post's "International Standard", which includes email tracking of your purchase.
• Upgrades: EXPRESS shipping is now available for Australian orders - Express orders should arrive within 1-3 days.

What makes your fine art prints so special?

• My prints are produced using the highest quality pigment inks to replicate the stunning colour and fine details of the original piece as closely as possible.

• Printed on high quality 300gsm, 100% cotton archival paper, to ensure the fine details and textures of the original painting are replicated authentically.

• A year (or 10!) from now, your print will look the same as it did when you first purchased it. This is because both archival quality inks and paper were used, so that the printed artwork will not fade or discolour over time.

Care instructions for fine art prints:

While all my prints are of archival quality, they are best framed under glass & placed out of direct sunlight.

Why do you offer free gift wrapping?

I want my customers to feel like purchasing from me is an "experience", and a pleasure, rather than "just another online purchase". I also feel that to do justice to the high quality of my product, I cannot offer anything but equally high quality packaging & presentation.
However if you would prefer not to have your purchase gift wrapped, please just leave a note with your order, or message me.

How do you gift wrap your products?

The prints are presented in a clear cello envelope with a backing board, and then carefully wrapped in crisp white tissue paper and tied in a loose, luxurious bow with a gorgeous royal blue satin ribbon.

It is my hope that whomever receives these gift wrapped print(s) (be it yourself or someone else!), will enjoy the experience of unwrapping - and be just as delighted with the quality of packaging and presentation, as they are with the stunning quality of the print within.
If you do not want your order gift wrapped for any reason, please message me or leave a note with your order.
