Hi there! My name is Serena Louise. I am a watercolorist and artist from Boulder, Colorado. I received my Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts K-12 Teaching at the University of Northern Colorado. I am now residing in Crested Butte, Colorado.

Since earning my degree I have developed the habitual and journalistic task of making something new every day. With that, my style has changed a lot! My artwork has transformed into vignettes, little snippets of images or ideas that I might be studying at the time. Particularly, in the Gunnison Valley, the many shapes and colors of the peaks that surround it. Or the wildlife and flora that each have its season. I would like to think my artwork is like flipping through a field guide. It may not be by the books scientific, but it is all a combination of seeing and feeling. Watercolor has that special way of making images seem like a dream.
