Thanks for visiting Artefact Vintage! We scour the Southland looking for unique, vintage housewares, crafting supplies, and knick-knacks. Have you found something you love? Read on to learn more about our shop policies. If you can't find what you're looking for, go ahead and convo. We're really nice :)
We accept credit card payments through Paypal. Payment is expected immediately after purchase.
Your purchase will be shipped to the address you have on file with Etsy. Please make sure your information is up-to-date. If your item is a gift, please convo me and I will ship to whatever address you request! I can also include a note to the recipient.
I love to combine shipping! If you purchase multiple items from my store, please convo me. I'll send you a new quote for shipping costs.
U.S. orders: All items will be shipped USPS First Class, though some may be shipped USPS Priority, depending on cost and availability. Please convo me if you prefer Priority.
International orders: All international orders will be shipped USPS Priority. The buyer is responsible for any additional fees, such as customs.
I ship items within 48 hours of your purchase (usually sooner!)
I recommend the buyer purchase insurance for fragile items. Convo me that request at the time of purchase and I will send you a new quote for shipping. Insurance is relatively inexpensive. Like I said, I highly recommend it!
Refunds and Exchanges
We do our best to be as honest and forthright with our listings as possible. Scratches, rust, and other imperfections come with the vintage territory, and we will let you know about those in our listings. However, if you receive your item and it's not what you expected or is more imperfect than you thought, you can return it for a refund. Here's how to do it:
Contact me (via convo) within 48 hours of receipt of your item. Return the item within 10 days of purchase. We will then credit your Paypal account for the original cost + the original shipping.
Unfortunately, we cannot extend refunds or exchanges for items broken or damaged in transit. If you have purchased a fragile item that breaks in transit, please do not return the broken item. You have more than likely purchased insurance and you should file a claim with USPS.
