    Simple and Elegant Hand Crafted Jewelry

    We are Tomer and Tanya Mikaeilyn. We design and produce all of the jewelry for our line, Artemer, from our studio in Ramat-Gan.

    How Artemer was born:
    Before we launched Artemer, we were both working full time for other people; we hated the fact that we had to spend the most vital hours of our days apart. We both graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, and when we’re together we are constantly creating – drawing, writing, inventing. When Tomer was fired from his job (whoops), he began working on Tanya’s engagement ring instead of searching for another job as a jeweler. That ring turned out to be the very first piece in our line of engagement rings.

    Our Designs:
    All of Artemer products are hand crafted from start to finish. We aim to create jewelry that is original, refined and beautiful, while not stealing the show from the person wearing it.
    Quality is very important to us, in both our materials and process - we design pieces to last a lifetime. You can’t make something crooked and then straighten it afterwards; every detail has to be perfect and accurate from the beginning.

    Accepted payment methods

    Returns and exchanges
    I gladly accept returns and cancellations
    Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
    Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
    Request a cancellation within: 24 hours of purchase
    I don't accept exchanges
    But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
    The following items can't be returned or exchanged
    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
    • Custom or personalized orders
    • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
    • Digital downloads
    • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
    Returns and exchange details
    Changes and cancellations:
    - You can request any change or cancellation to your order within 24 hours of purchase.
    After 48 hours of purchase:
    - if you change your ring size, you will be charged with sizing fee of 30 USD.
    - if you cancel your order or change your order to a different design - you will be charged with a cancellation fee of 100 USD.

    Our return policy:
    - If you are unhappy with your purchase, please let us know within 7 days after receiving the item. We will give you the return address and will refund the amount minus shipping once we receive the piece back.
    - Fill out the Returns Form that is included with your delivery. If you no longer have this form, then please request a copy along with your Order Number.
    - You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
    - To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

    - Custom orders:
    Custom orders are not fully refundable. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.

    - Sizing Issues:
    If you provided the wrong ring size by mistake and want to re-size it, we can adjust the size for you. Our sizing fee is 30 USD. For Eternity rings & Dual diamond "horseshoe" rings, the sizing fee is 80 USD. A charge of 10 USD is added for shipping.
    Payment
    - We accept payments through Paypal.
    - We accept most major credit cards, including: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Choose "other" payment option and we will get back to you with a payment link.
    - We do not accept Diners and Discover credit cards.

    Sales/Value Added Tax
    - Value Added Tax (currently at the rate of 17%) will be added to bills of customers from ISRAEL.
    - Customers from all other countries are responsible for arranging payment of any local taxes or duties, as imposed by their country of residence.

    - We offer payment plans from 2 to 5 instalments.
    How does it work:
    1) Write us how many payments would you like to do and the frequency of the payments.
    2) Tell us the needed ring size + gold color.
    3) We will set up your payment plan link and send it to you.
    4) When the first payment is made - we start working on your order.
    Shipping
    - All items are sent out gift boxed.

    - All of our items are MADE TO ORDER, so we need some time to create your custom piece. This is why orders are normally shipped within 1-2 weeks of receipt of payment.

    - During SALEs, orders are shipped within 2-3 weeks of receipt of payment.
    We appreciate your kind understanding!

    - We ship via international registered airmail service. It should normally take approx. 10-14 business days to arrive, but please note that occasionally delivery may take an extra few days. As of October 2018, Israel Post no longer provides tracking information for registered shipments from Israel. You'll have a tracking number, but you will not be able to receive tracking updates.

    - You can upgrade your shipping to:
    EMS - 5 business days - 35 USD (7-10 business days for peripheral areas)
    DHL - 2 business days - 50 USD (5-8 business days for peripheral areas)
    Please make sure to leave us your PHONE NUMBER for delivery coordination!

    - Please note that Israeli post office company regulations does not require to attach the invoice on the envelope, nor to declare the value of the shipped item.

    - Shipping to GERMANY is via DHL only.

    - Customer Service:
    We do our best to answer your messages as soon as possible.
    But please note that Fridays & Saturdays are a weekend days in Israel and our two days off the Studio and the computer. So if you'll write to us on Friday or Saturday, we'll most likely answer you on Sunday.

    - Warranty:
    - There is a 1-year warranty on all jewelry items purchased from Artemer. The warranty cover defects in craftsmanship or materials.
    - Should your item get damaged after the expiration of the warranty period, we can still repair the item as needed. Repair fees will vary, so please contact us for details.

    - Our White Gold:
    We don't put rhodium plating over the gold to make it look whiter, we keep the original color of the natural gold. Therefore, it appears rather yellowish or greyish than purely white. This gives it a natural and unique look. Also, you would not have to re-plate it as you would with most white gold jewelry.

    - How to Care for Your Jewelry:

    1) Always remove all jewelry before you begin any strenuous activity. That includes any type of work-out –even yoga and dancing, and any type of lifting of heavy objects, whether you're helping a friend move boxes and furniture or you're lifting weights for fitness.

    2) To preserve the clarity of your ring center stone and prevent it from clouding up or losing its shiny quality, please make sure to remove your ring before:
    + Washing your hands with soap
    + Showering
    + Applying lotion
    Soap and lotion can leave a residue, which builds up over time and causes the stone to lose its sparkle and become cloudy.

    - Cleaning Your Jewelry:

    If the stone does get cloudy, here are a few steps you can take on your own:
    + Polish, using a lint-free, 100% cotton clothֿ
    + Brush gently, using a soft toothbrush, lukewarm water, and dish soap
    + Do not use a brush to clean turquoise/pearl stone - use your fingertips insteadֿ
    + Before and after cleaning, check to see that the stone is still tightly set - especially if using a steam cleaner
    + Never use an ultrasonic cleaner on micro-pavé stones, pearls, emeralds, or turquoise

    Frequently asked questions
    How do I find my ring size?

    You can always go to your local jewelry store and have your ring size measured there.
    Otherwise, measure the circumference (the distance around) of your finger, by winding a strip of paper or a piece of string around it, and then measure the length of that paper or string, using a ruler with millimeter marks.
    Another option is to take a ring you are currently wearing and to measure its INSIDE diameter (distance across) in millimeters.
    Send us these measurements and we will tell you your US ring size.

    Can I order the same design but with a larger/smaller diamond?

    YES. We can make most of our rings with a diamond in any carat size.
    Contact us and we'll quote you a price to suit your taste and budget.

    RETURNS
