Welcome to Arte Obscura! Part of the reason this shop was founded is due to the excess amount of materia magica that I was left with when performing work for clientele. In an effort to avoid losing money I decided to open Arte Obscura and offer these products to others as well. Almost instantly after launching this store it picked up nicely and was well received. I aim to stay humble and I don’t claim be superior or more knowledgeable than any other spiritual worker out there, as there are many wonderful and talented workers all around – many here on Etsy. And though I am not formally initiated into any practices, I do come from generations of the Mexican Brujeria traditions of the Brownsville-Matamoros metropolitan area. Brownsville being in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas and Matamoros right across the border in Mexico. In addition I’ve been a long time student of the magical arts and sciences in general – particularly those of High Magick and European Grimoire Magick. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns, however, I do not perform spiritual work online nor do I sell spells. I only do this locally and in person.
