About

An Abstract Love

I’m a young woman fascinated by anything vintage and old. Drawn more to old-fashioned machinery and industrial items, anything rusted and metal.

I started playing with beads and jewelry as a little girl. What started as a personal joy, developed into family gifts, and eventually a professional inclination. I began working at a bead store I visited often and discovered the Steampunk genre. I started collecting watches and vintage pieces; taking apart the watches and eventually incorporating the bits and bobs into my jewelry.

I began my jewelry interest as a seed beader but migrated more towards wire wrapping when I started leaning more into the industrial look. I practice what I call micro-wire wrapping in which I basically sew pieces together with thin wire. I also enjoy mixed media and resin, but I've never fully trusted glue alone.

Jewelry making is a passion and love for me. Every part from the design to the photographing works as an anti-anxiety.
