Me and my wife produce professional high quality handcrafted fused dichroic glass jewelry. We cut, shape, and layer glass. It is then fired until fused at around 1400F. The dichroic glass gets its brilliant gem like look from a high tech process where a fine coating is applied to the glass by the manufacturer. Dichroic reflects one color and transmits another. It is what occurs in nature with opals and peacock feathers. The colors are permanent and will not fade over time.

5 out of 5 starsThis rating is more for the seller than the item. Through no fault of the seller, the earrings turned out not to match a necklace I was trying to coordinate with. I offered to exchange them for another item in his shop, and he was willing to accept the return. Then the partially prepared shipment went missing before I could actually send it, yet he offered to hold the item I wanted to exchange it for to give me time to find the earrings. In the end I wasn't able to find them, so no return or exchange took place; but the seller was gracious in trying to sort out the problem, and I appreciate his willingness to work with me on a solution even if it never came together.
