Miniature collectible dollhouse paintings - Art In Wax
Hi I'm Hazel Rayfield
I am an Encaustic artist with a passion for painting in miniature .
All my artwork is original and created using Encaustic wax medium, hence the name "Art In Wax"
Miniature and Dollhouse Art
My miniature collectible art, are in many dollhouse and miniature properties as well as in miniature and art card collections. I get great feedback both in my store and personally how people find the pieces very unique. All my art is original. I am inspired by all sorts of things especially the country side here in the south of England. But mostly my paintings come from my imagination.
Creating Art In Wax
I paint using wax medium which I melt using a collection of heat tools. These range from specialist encaustic irons and stylus heat tools, with various nibs and tips to a hot plate and craft heat gun, all of which go into the creating my paintings in varying ways.
Selling Art In Wax
I have been selling my artwork online Since 2011 and have had an amazing response to my pieces, with often getting repeat purchases when people see the art in real life. I sell internationally with many painting now in homes, dolls houses and collections in 20 counties worldwide including the UK, Europe, Australia Canada and the US.
