Another beautiful pair of rooster and hen that I've already got hanging on the wall. :)

This sculpture is absolutely beautiful. I call her "the blue bird of happiness" and she is part of my nieces graduation gift. Thank you for such quick shipping.

About

Doing what I was meant to do

I was born and raised in Kenosha Wi. and did a lot of fishing in Lake Michigan and camping in the Northwoods as well as ice fishing in the winter. I live in Sarasota Fl. now and don't miss the cold winters. I like to garden and can do it almost all year except for alittle bit in the summer when it's too toasty.
I have a bachelor of arts degree in Earth science but my first summer out of college I went to a craft fair and sold some of my work. I was hooked, I never persued my education but rather started going to art shows. I really enjoy what I do and have a true feeling that I'm doing what I was meant to do. All my creations are done from my original designs that I sculpture from clay. The final sculpture is made from a strong durable, lightweight fiberglass material. Each piece is then hand-painted and embelished to create a unique one of a kind wall sculpture.
A while ago I started playing around with making glass eyes for some of my sculptures, they started turning out pretty good and I was getting requests from jewelers and other artists for my glass eyes. So I now offer a line of glass eyes in many sizes for jewelry making or sculpture. I enjoy comming up with new designs and colors for the eyes and the response has been very good. People have sent me pictures of their creations using my glass eyes and they never cease to amaze me.
Everyday is a new adventure of creativity!

I grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and can remember as a young child digging clay out of the lake bank and sculpting birds and rabbits and other things, leaving them dry in the sun only to disappear in the next rain.
