About

Original Art by Aaron Beebe

An artist and museum professional for over 20 years, Aaron has spent his entire career immersed in the arcane language of museums and archives. He has studied the immersive theater of museums and amusement parks, written about the history of popular entertainment, and learned the secret language of librarians and museuologists. His work explores the relationship between institutionality and poetry.

This is the place to purchase that work.

Thank you for your interest in my work. I'm an individual artist, not a store or a studio. That means you get the benefit of dealing directly with me. No middlemen, no gatekeepers.

It also means that your and I are entering into a relationship of sorts. I promise to put all my heart into the work that you're purchasing, including its careful and professional shipment if you promise to treat me with respect and patience.

I accept Etsy Gift Cards, PayPal via Etsy Direct Checkout.

I'm sorry, but I do not accept personal checks or money orders via mail.
Shipping
Please allow some time for your order to be processed and shipped. Items that are marked 1-2 days will be wrapped and shipped immediately. Items that require framing may take a little longer.

DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS:

My default shipping method is USPS Priority Mail. I ship from Brooklyn, so it can sometimes take 4 business days for packages to reach the West Coast via Priority Mail.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

I can certainly ship internationally; however, I cannot promise your package will arrive by a certain date. Customs is a mysterious force, and transit times may vary.

I will ship overseas via First Class Mail International, which is the only cost-effective option. This method doesn't provide reliable tracking information, unfortunately.

I cannot be responsible for any additional customs tariffs or charges that your country imposes on your package, nor can I predict what they might be.
Refunds and Exchanges
You are buying a one-of-a-kind work of art. As such, I will do everything in my power to make sure that it is professionally packed and shipped. I can't unconditionally guarantee its safety, however, so if you need more reliable conditions, please contact me and I'll be happy to discuss additional insurance riders and such.
