When I was a kid, I remember saving all the money I earned doing chores to buy Skipper and Barbie dolls. And, of course, my dolls needed outfits, so I attempted sewing little clothes. I always envied my friends who had American Girl Dolls, but the dolls were out of my family’s budget. But, I really liked reading about the American Girls and learning about history.

Now that I have my own daughters, I enjoy sewing clothing for them and for their dolls. I discovered Liberty Jane Patterns when I was looking for patterns to sew clothes for my daughters and I was so inspired by the adorable and very detailed outfits. I was hooked.

Now I sew outfits for 18 inch dolls to sell in my Etsy shop using Liberty Jane Patterns, and I also design my own patterns which are available in my Etsy shop or through Liberty Jane.
