Announcement   Welcome to Artists Of The Rockies . Wayne and Karen Reno work as a husband and wife team to offer you fine quality damascus art knives , engraving , and museum quality scrimshaw . we also do other art forms from time to time . All items are done in house by us including making our own damascus . Wayne makes and engraves the damascus knives and Karen does the scrimshaw .Wayne and Karen along with Tim Zawada , and Richard Miller collaborated to make the number 1 Safari Club commemorative knife and display stand . We work mostly in natural materials ,Ivory , rare woods , silver and gold and more . Karen uses the stipple technique mostly but is also skilled in traditional line work . Her work is photographic . Our work has been featured in several issues of Gun Digest , Custom guns of the world , both Knives Illustrated and blade magazines , Safari Club international , The Second Scrimshaw Connection by Bob Egnath , Jim Stevens book Scrimshaw Techniques , and both the German and the new English hardback books on scrimshaw by Eva Hallet .
