In one sense these earrings are very functional. They fasten securely so you can put them on and leave them on. They are so lightweight you will forget you are wearing earrings. They are all of these things while also being delicate and delightfully beautiful. It's quite the combination.

About

From the beach to the jeweler's bench...

Beaches and woods are great meditative spaces, enlarging creative experience. I work "off the beaten path" in a home studio that opens to hemlocks and birches. My jewelry and sculpture express non-objective organic and geometric forms inspired by nature, shaped by imagination.

Earning an MFA in Sculpture, I taught welding and worked in a bronze foundry. Later, experimenting with fibers changed my design aesthetic. Now ideas are realized more spontaneously with the simplest cold joining methods in metals. I love creating in the moment and processing thoughts directly into materials. It's what I call "drawing in space", combining linear elements from drawing with space ideas from sculpture.

Frequently asked questions

Sizing details

Bangles:

My opposing hooks design is easy-open, slips up under any wrist size. Four approximate sizes: X-Small 6.5, Small 6.75, Medium 7, and Large 7.5 inches inner circumference. I can make custom sizes. The ideal place to measure is around your wrist bone and then allowing a little extra for ease of movement.

Ear Wires:

We use three standard ear wire gauges to create our earrings. The smallest designs are usually done in 21 gauge, mediums in 20 gauge, and larger ones tend to be in 18 gauge wire. That's the thickest ear wire we use; it fits most ears but please consider comfort before you purchase.

Custom and personalized orders

We work from our own original designs creating from something we've listed but sold, or one of our pieces you'd like in a different size, metal, or stone.
