...a little about my art history....I have done gallery shows, been part of several artist co-ops, and have even been on t.v. for my art. I learned that I have an ability to paint designs that have a balanced flow to them ...some of my design work was created years ago...I would draw whenever I could at some of my "real jobs"!! Sometimes I scan my original paintings into the computer and digitally repeat it into a pattern. My paintings are impressionistic acrylics. At times I upcycle vintage frames from my estate sale finds and may add found objects to make a mixed media piece. I am a trained florist and owned two flower shops years ago...I credit the experience of that for my design sense.
.......a little about my studio. I live in the home I grew up in in Pittsburgh, PA...a 1902 grand Victorian. I have made 2 of my extra bedrooms into my studio...back in "the day" inside these walls were my grandparent's kitchen and living room!
