I’m Leah Gerber, jewelry designer/manufacturer and owner of this shop. I want to share a secret that will help you appreciate what you see in our Gallery:

In order to produce beautiful jewelry that speaks to others, you must have a life beyond your jewelry work… a life that supplies you with healthy doses of Nature, Love, Faith and Other People.

So here is a glimpse of the life that inspires and enriches my work.

I live in Haifa, a beautiful Israeli city on the Mediterranean Sea with a history thousands of years old. My workshop (the place where I feel most at home) is in my house. From my windows, I can see the sea. Its constant murmuring, rolling energy keeps me company and recharges me when I get tired or frustrated. The colors and lights, textures and movements of the waves on the shore provide ideas for my jewelry designs.
I have an amazing family who shows faith in my work by getting involved. My husband helps me with logistics (business purchases and orders), my “techno-smart” adult children help me with everything related to the computer age, and my grandson Jonah is my Social Media Expert, managing that global wonder called Facebook better than I ever could.
(Another secret: You can’t be a master at everything… but everything can be mastered with help from those who love you.)

Then there is my Artistic Family – the authentic master craftsmen (women, actually!) and designers whom I am fortunate to represent in my shop: Ester Dvoskin, Renata Grabois, Natalia and Oleg Grudinin, Orly Coffler and Tamar Yusefovsky. We don’t just work together, consult one another on technical challenges, and organize group exhibits showing our work. We also communicate our passion for the craft, share our successes with real pleasure, and enjoy a rare friendship that has a life beyond our work.
