Five stars and then some!! This print is so cute and looks even better in person. Also, Pattianne shipped quickly and packaged it safe and secure. I ordered it on Thursday and had it in hand on Monday! Highly recommend this shop!

About

Where 'did' the Art On The Menu recipe come from?

At Art On The Menu there are no walls between the studio, the kitchen, and the world table. But there is a path I follow that runs between them. This path is personal, cultural, and universal.

I first stepped onto this path and began the journey while growing up. In our home, cooking and mealtime were important family activities. And of course, I had 'the' proverbial Grandmother who loved to bake.

I would spend hours watching my Mother and Grandmother preparing meals, putting up preserves in Summer, and baking cakes and pastries, all the while marveling at the magic of it all.
How were simple stand alone ingredients transformed?

Transforming the shapes, textures and colors I saw then, into a "visual experience", is how I now tell this story.
