Wood prices in general have gone up anywhere from 180% to over 400% in the last year or less. We've tried to keep our prices consistent, but we have had to raise some, based on the increased supply chain cost. Would be nice if it would return to pre-pandemic pricing, but we're not holding our breath. We will continue to monitor pricing and try to keep our as low as feasible.

Joy and enrichment through creative expression.

Our parent company, Creative Concepts Int., LLC, was started in 2004. My wife and I are both creative individuals and realized that in life, one may have to work for someone else to make ends meet, but we also knew that the only way to achieve enjoyment and satisfaction in life was through our own creative efforts.

My wife has a degree in nutrition from her University in Taiwan, and I have a degree in Graphic Design from the University of West Florida. My wife loves to cook and experiment in the kitchen, as well as gardening year round here in Pensacola, FL.

After working for Apple for nearly 8 years, I parted ways with Apple and took ArtsyDoors full time. This was a tough decision to make, not to mention scary, but we parted on good terms. I'm confident that we'll be able to make ArtsyDoors a full time endeavor, providing support for my wife, Gandy and myself.

We initially were doing virtual tours for local, regional and national businesses and non-profits. From there we branched out to doing custom vinyl decals (which we still do) and from there to laser crafted works for the home and body.

In Spring of 2014 we purchased our first large laser (30" x 40", 100W) in order to bring our design and manufacturing in house, literally. That was an experience to say the least, as we had to remove the entire front window to move the laser into the house.

Everything is now set up, and we can devote more time to designing, without the time involved in having prototypes outsourced, making changes and more prototypes. Now we can do it all in home and go through several variations in a single day, even at 3am, if so inclined.

In addition to our standard designs, we love working with customers to create unique one of a kind items, as well as providing laser services to others in the creative field.

Please note that custom orders not based on in stock designs will entail a custom design surcharge and/or additional charge based on additional cutting/engraving time as well as any additional labor to create the finished product. We'll gladly work with you to create the design and quote any additional fees, packaging/shipping cost and then create a custom listing for your specific item.

My wife and I love the creative process and working with natural materials. We work with an eclectic selection of materials such as wood, leather, various fabrics and multi-media (in the traditional sense). We have standard designs but really welcome custom orders and the creative process of working with our valued Etsy friends.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
We gladly accept returns of stock items within 5 business days for incorrectly shipped items due to our error.

For custom items (such as engraved with names, dates, etc.) we can't accept returns unless we incorrectly engraved the info on the item(s). If this is the case, we will gladly reship the item with the mistake corrected or issue a refund.

For custom orders, we work closely with you, our customer, prior to sending the order to our laser. To this day, we've yet had a mistake on custom orders. Everything is documented via the Etsy convo. You can rest assured that your item will be exactly as described and as ordered.
We accept all mayor credit cards and payments though PayPal. These payments are made through their secure servers and we never have access to your payment information.

Tax will be automatically added to all orders within our home state, Florida.
All our order are processed at time of payment. Once payment is received, your order will be processed. For stock designs, orders will be processed and sent to our laser cutting queue. For custom designs, we require verification/confirmation from you, once we send you the digital proof for approval. Once approved, your custom order is sent to our laser cutting queue.

Shipments are usually within 1-3 business days, this doesn't count weekends and holidays. For example, if you order on Monday, a stock item will ship on Wed. or Thur. If you order a custom design on Monday, we send you the digital proof for approval on Tue. and you approve on Wed., your shipment will go out on Fri. or Mon. This is for single and small orders of in stock items. If you are ordering a larger number of items, the shipping time will be more likely 3-5 business days. If the shipping time will be greater than that, we will contact you to provide an estimated shipment day.

If you have need for an expedited shipment, or need it by a specific date, we will be happy to work with you, with the understanding there may be an expedited fee as well as increased shipping fee, per carrier rates.

If it's a holiday season and we find ourselves with a longer lead time, we will post this on the website, on Etsy, and notify you via email. This is so you can decide if you still want to purchase or not based on the adjusted delivery time.

We typically ship our smaller products via USPS flat rate or priority mail, as appropriate.

We love our international customers, but as international shipping fees can be expensive, we ask that anyone not in the United States to contact us for a precise quote. Also, we are not responsible for import tax and tariffs that your home country may impose on purchases from the United States. Those fees will be in addition to what we charge for shipping and are the buyers responsibility when the items arrive in their own country. We will not lie or change the price of an item on customs forms. Don't ask.
Additional policies and FAQs
As wood and it's derivative materials are variable in nature, there will be some variation in color and grain, this is expected.

Our earring and necklace findings are all nickel free, for sensitive skin.

We typically use 1/8" and 1/4" birch ply for our wood items (business card holders, Christmas ornaments, fridge magnets, game boards, etc.).

We are limited on the size of item we can cut/engrave to 40" x 30". Our laser is a 100w CO2, capable of cutting/engraving most organic and non-metallic items. We can engrave on stainless steel with a special coating we have in house. We try to limit our cutting thickness to 1/4", depending on the material. We have cut 1/2" ply, but tends to leave a heavy sooty edge (but will clean off fairly easily, but edge isn't as smooth as on the 1/8" and 1/4" ply.

Custom and personalized orders

We do not accept returns for custom or personalized items, as these typically cannot be resold. If we make a mistake on our end, we'll gladly make it right.

Wholesale availability

We do offer wholesale pricing with a minimum of 1/4 gross of any one product design. Some items, such as same priced ornaments can be mixed and matched to reach the 1/4 gross min. units for wholesale pricing.

How do your items differ from others of same type?

Glad you asked. What set's us apart is the way we finish our products. Most sellers of laser engraved / cut items simply cut the item out, package it and ship it out, smoke/burn marks and all.

We sand our wood before cutting / engraving, then once item is finished in laser, we wipe or sand as necessary to remove the burn / smoke marks. Then we apply multiple layers of a protective finish, lightly sanding between each. Once the item is cured / dried, we inspect the finished item prior to packaging and shipping out.

Visually you'll find our products have a more polished finish, and once you receive the item(s), and get your hands on them, you'll see for yourself how or products are taken a step further in quality and finish.

What are your products made of?

The majority of our products are produced from 1/8" (3mm) and 1/4" (6mm) Baltic birch plywood, henceforth BBP.

BBP is a dimensionally stable hardwood ply, made from solid plys of birch running perpendicular, alternatingly. BBP has thicker outer plys than other hardwood plys, providing a more durable surface. There are no internal voids in the BBP that we use here at

BBP can take both stain and paint fantastically, and even multiple layers of a clear finish provides a wonderful depth & color.

Some will say that Alder is better, but truth is that Alder is a cheaper and softer wood than Birch (though in same family). The truth is that both woods provide a beautifully finished product, based on care in creating the product.
