I absolutely adore this wonderfully crafted necklace; I only take it off to shower! Thank you again for another wonderful addition. I can't wait to see what else you create!
I'm just a girl who believes in being happy and making the world a better place!
Hey guys! So as some of you might know already, my name is Heather! I've rewritten this Story section of my Etsy a couple different times and I thought it was time to rewrite it once again. I'm constantly evolving, changing and gaining new experiences and I figure it's a healthy thing to keep changing my About Me! So here I am again to update you guys on who you're buying your handmade jewelry from ;)
I'm Heather and I am the soul creator and founder of ArtsyMadwoman Jewelry! So I guess I'm trying to say I am THE Artsy Madwoman! Haha! My shop name took inspiration from my absolute favorite movie, Alice In Wonderland! I'm obsessed with all things spooky, trippy, weird & Tim Burton-est! I believe I was about 10 or 15 seconds old when I realized I was artistic.. Haha. No but really, I was very young when I realized I had a deep love for the arts. When I say "the arts" I mean all art forms. I've taught myself to paint, knit, draw, crochet, photograph, make pottery, cook a bit and WIRE WRAP! I'm always on the hunt for something new to teach myself! In all honesty, I've taught myself most of what I know from YouTube videos! Damn, that is a great place to learn knew stuff! Anyways, I'm currently 23 years old and I have to say that that number means absolutely nothing to me. I'm just living my life, disregarding the expectations that come with my age. I'm always and forever will be dying my hair crazy colors. I tried having a "normal" natural color and I honestly didn't feel like myself. At the moment, I work at Michael's Craft Store and I actually love it! I've traveled the United States a bit and could not have fallen deeper in love. I road tripped from New Hampshire to California and back. On the way back, we stopped in New York to volunteer on a farm called Magic Forest Farm. The week I spent at that farm was one of the most amazing weeks I've ever had. Really rivals the week I spent in Canada with my best friend but I digress. My big dream, the big gigantic life goal is to have my own farm! I want to grow my own food, raise my own animals (as pets only!) and a big part of my dreams is that I want to donate some of the produce I grow to the homeless. I want so badly to help the homeless is some way and I figure this is the best way to combine what I want my career to be and the change I want to make in the world. I want to be able to donate to charities and help people get farm fresh food. I plan to do this with my boyfriend but more like life partner, Sean! He is one of the most incredible human beings I've ever had the pleasure of hanging out with. He helps me do what I love doing. Without him, I wouldn't be able to work on my Etsy as much as I do now which isn't an overwhelming amount as it stands. I'm very grateful for him. I want selling my jewelry to become my main source of income and that's another part of my big dream. I'd love to one day have my own little store front! Meeting the people that buy my jewelry would be unreal because you guys keep my dreams alive and I can't thank you enough for your amazing love and support.
I hope you guys have one hell of a day and know that I have so much love for all of you!

Hey I'm Heather, the artsy madwoman! I love nature and good vibes and that's what I try to incorporate into my art. Hurdles I've encountered in my life have brought me here and I'm happy to say that.
