An artist creates with the right brain ...
but computers and technology need the left brain active to decipher their mysteries. As soon as you think about adding something to your website, it gets harder to be creative, doesn't it? As soon as you start to take photos, your momentum slows. Stay tuned and I'll tell you how to make your life easier.
It's a common problem with artists running their own business. You're torn between your art and your work. I know you *can* do it, but is it the best use of your time?
In the time it takes you to fuss with photoshop, which is enormously powerful, but equally complicated, ...
Or copy and paste javascript code, which looks like gibberish and fails to work if you miss a single squiggle when you copy it, ...
You could have finished your next piece of art.
This was the problem my wife had, so I know how hard it can be. She's a talented artist and someone who is pretty handy with a computer and camera, too, but juggling these two different tasks at the same time led to frustration and started to sap the joy out of her art.
So I saw the need for a quick and easy way to update the website's look, text and photos, an easy way to interface it with Etsy, an easy way to add more items, rearrange, change prices, etc. I created this interactively with her and for her.
Then I expanded the options and styles to make it work for you too. Try it and I think you'll like it. You can install a free trial version at artuit.com and see for yourself. No registration needed. Easy, like everything else. :)
What about banners?
I have started adding a few banners to my shop, but feel free to suggest others or ask for a custom design. My work is quick and reasonably priced.
What about photos?
I've launched a new photo touch-up service that is currently in the free trial stage, called Photuit. Pick 5 photos that somehow don't represent your art well and email them to me for a free trial hand retouching. I'll correct color, brighten, enhance, remove backgrounds if needed, it's practically like magic. I have a few examples with more coming soon on the website: artuit.com/photuit
What about other tech/computer/graphics help?
Ask me and I can likely help. I like to help. :)

I'm a computer, tech and internet expert, who married a talented artist and saw that our work could be wed as well. If you're an artist that doesn't enjoy the fussy, technical side of websites, photos, banners and such, check out my shop. I can help.
