Inspired by adventures and stories of people in whom she has crossed paths, Anna creates classic jewelry pieces to contribute to your life story

ASA Designs formally began in 2007 as a creative outlet between Anna, her sister Shawna and her nephew Adrian [ASA]. While their collaboration has since taken different paths, Anna has continued to grow a passionate business dedicated to providing high quality handcrafted jewelry that will last a lifetime.

I'll be honest. I have two lives. I am an archaeologist. I am a jewelry designer...and I love to do both! As an archaeologist, I work closely with the elders and members of a southern California Native American tribe to preserve and protect their traditional places. It is an extremely tasking job, but it is very rewarding when we are able to save a threatened sacred site from the bulldozers. It's an incredible feeling to know that we are preserving the stories of these long-gone ancestors, and creating new stories for the modern generation.

I've always been drawn to people who have led great adventures and I have listened, spellbound, around campfires, in workshops, classrooms, anywhere, anyplace, to anyone who was willing to tell me about their life. My archaeological training honed my listening skills and my fascination grew with people who have a tale to tell. I listened then and I still their past adventures... to their present successes...and to their future hopes and dreams. I am privileged to witness someone's life and I love to hear and remember their beautiful story.

As a jewelry designer, I want to continue to be a part of those stories, and your story! Jewelry design, just like archaeological story-telling and listening, requires an intentional focus on detail. The details are what I love and I believe that reflects in my pieces. Subtle color choices, selected wire wrapping techniques, the use of natural and semiprecious stones and the choice of materials are what make my pieces unique. And I hope some of these pieces will become a part of your life story.

My friend, I wish for your adventures to be grand and engraved in your memory - and that there is always someone beside you to listen to your stories!

I invite you to browse my designs. Ask questions. Even request a custom piece. Tell me how I can be a part of your story!

Welcome to ASA Designs! My desire is to make you happy!! I take pride in making handcrafted pieces of jewelry and textiles, most of which are limited editions or one of a kind. If you are looking for something unique, you've come to the right place!

I love taking requests for custom personal items. If you see a design you like but would prefer another color or metal and that option is not provided in the listing, please let me know.

I will also try to accommodate those who have certain textile or metal allergies and will be happy to work with you to design custom order items for those who may have special needs and/or disabilities. Please contact me prior to purchasing in the event that material changes affect the posted item price. I am also happy to change earrings to clips at no extra charge if you do not have your ears pierced. Please add this to the message to seller when you check out.

Scarves are mailed in Tyvex flexible envelopes. If you are gifting this item and would like additional event-specific packaging, please let me know at checkout and I will be happy to accommodate you at no extra cost.

RECEIPTS: If you are like me, you hate extra papers and unnecessary materials in your orders. In an effort to reduce waste, I do not include a paper invoice with your order. If you would like an invoice, please let me know and I will e-mail you a copy.

UNITED STATES SHIPPING: Please note-->The US Postal Service is now including tracking with all First Class packages. I will provide you a follow-up e-mail with your tracking number so you can follow your package as it happily goes to your house :)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All international orders will be shipped US Postal Service 1st Class. This often takes from 2 to 5 weeks, depending on your County. Refunds and Exchanges
I have a one year guarantee on workmanship. I just know you will love my accessories; however, because all items are handcrafted, I understand that problems can occur. If a jewelry component (not including beads) should break due to a manufacturing defect or if a finish wears off unexpectedly, I will be happy to fix the item at no extra charge. If there is a problem with a textile, contact me and I will try my best to fix the problem. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. Note that I do not guarantee items that are labeled vintage.

At this time, I do not provide refunds. Please contact me regarding exchanges. You are responsible for all shipping charges.

If your jewelry piece does not fit for any reason, please convo me and I will see if I can adjust it to the correct size. Please note that you are responsible for all shipping costs on exchanges.
