Some packages may be re-routed back and forth or sit "in transit" for a week at a time without update. I have NO control over this. I have had a shop on Etsy selling my finished creations since 2015 and enjoy being able to share them with the world. I decided that I would like to offer supplies to you so that you too can make your very own creations. I feel it is important to be able to express yourself in a variety of ways so I am expanding my online presence to include this shop which will only sell supplies for crafting and scrapbooking.

Thank you for visiting my shop. I have been creating art for the majority of my adult life and have recently decided I would offer the supplies to you so that you too can find your inner artist. Creating new projects can be a great stress reliever and being able to use many types of mediums to create make that even more fun. I have found that I never tire of learning new things or trying new products so I want you to have that opportunity as well. I will always be adding new products so be sure to check back often. Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Items are insured with tracking. If you receive your package damaged, or have any other issues with your purchase, please contact me immediately here or email me at suppliesatasc [!at] gmail.com. You will need to take plenty of photos of the damaged product and the packaging. Also, you will need to keep the original packaging (the postal service may require you to take the packaging to one of their offices). I will then file a claim with the postal service. If the claim is paid, I will replace the item. I will gladly refund or exchange any damaged items, but I do request that the damaged items are mailed back to me at your expense and I will replace it at mine.

ASC Supplies accepts returns on UN-OPENED merchandise within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the product’s purchase price only (shipping costs will not be reimbursed). All products must be unused and returned in its original packaging. Product will be inspected upon return to see if it meets this criteria. Opened or used product will NOT be refunded.
Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to ASC Supplies on returned items. We do not accept COD (cash on delivery) for returned items. Please allow up to 30 days for your return to be processed. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed. Your credit card/financial institution may take longer to reflect the transaction.

If you change your mind about an order after the order has been shipped, you can refuse the package when it arrives and once I receive it back, I will issue a refund for the cost of the product only.

If you decide to return an order or item for ANY reason, please understand that you are returning the item at your expense and your refund will include the amount you paid for the item only. I purchased the original shipping label based on your chosen and paid for shipping method in order to ship the order to you. You returning the item to me will not result in me getting a refund for that shipping label, therefore I can't refund it back to you. This applies to both domestic and international orders.

Clay Policies

Freshness of our clay:
We purchase our clay from the manufacturer and it sells out within days of restocking shelves so it's as fresh from the manufacturer as I can get. In the rare case that some is still in stock when a new order comes in it is our policy to rotate stock so that it is stored in a “first in, first out” manner.

Returns/Refunds on clay:
ASC Supplies accepts returns on un-opened merchandise within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the product’s purchase price only (shipping costs will not be reimbursed). All products must be unused and returned in its original packaging. Product will be inspected upon return to see if it meets this criteria. Opened or used clay product will not be refunded.

Clay Durability/Soft & Hard Issues
Why do some oven-bake clays feel stiffer than other clays?
If oven-bake clay feels stiff, the clay should be pre-warmed to aid in conditioning. You can do this by letting the block of clay sit beneath a low-wattage light bulb for 5 minutes or so, and then rolling it briskly between your hands. The clay will become soft and flexible and the initial stiffness will subside. You can also use your hands by simply holding the clay between your hands for several minutes prior to rolling.

What are clay softeners and when do you use them?
We offer two kinds of clay softeners, a liquid and a solid clay conditioner.

When using Sculpey® Thinner and Clay Softener start with 2 – 4 drops per 2 oz. clay and mix thoroughly adding one drop at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.

When using the Sculpey® Solid Clay Conditioner pinch off a small piece of softener and mix thoroughly. Keep adding either the liquid or solid clay conditioner until your desired consistency is reached.

If you mix in too much, simply place the clay onto white computer paper and let it sit out for a couple of hours and some of the conditioner will be leached out.

The Clay Softener will not restore clay once it has become very hard or after it has been baked. If the clay is already crumbly, it has either had too much exposure to heat or old enough to have already undergone some chemical changes. At this stage, it cannot be reconstituted.

You can use the Sculpey Thinner and Clay Softener to thin out thicker Liquid Sculpey. Add 2 drops to the bottle and stir thoroughly. Add one drop at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.

How do I adjust the consistency of my clay or Liquid Sculpey®?
You can easily adjust the consistency of your clay. If your clay is too soft try this easy method: – Protect your work surface with wax paper or foil – Roll the clay into a sheet and place sheet of clay between several sheets of copy paper or newsprint, do not use printed paper as the print will transfer to the clay – Place a sheet of wax paper or foil over the top sheets of paper – Use a book as a weight on top of the papers – Leave the clay for a few hours, check for your desired consistency.
If your clay is harder than you’d like, you can soften it by adding a small amount of either Sculpey Thinner and Clay Softener or Sculpey Solid Clay Conditioner. Add a small amount at a time until you achieve your perfect consistency.
If your Liquid Sculpey is too thick you can thin it out by adding 2 drops of the Sculpey Thinner and Clay Softener to the bottle and stir thoroughly.

What if the clay I purchased is too firm?
If your clay is just a little dry or firm, it may only require the addition of Sculpey Clay Softener to reconstitute it. We offer two kinds of clay softeners, a liquid and a solid clay conditioner. When using our liquid softener start with 2 – 4 drops per 2 oz. clay and mix thoroughly. When using the solid clay softener, pinch off a small piece of softener and mix thoroughly. Keep adding either the liquid or solid clay conditioner until your desired consistency is reached. If you mix in too much, simply place the clay onto white computer paper and let it sit out for a couple of hours and some of the conditioner will be leached out.

What if the clay I purchased is too soft?
If you have clay that is too soft for your liking there is an easy fix for this! Protect your work surface with wax paper or foil. Simply roll the too-soft clay into sheets about 1/4" thick. Sandwich it between sheets of clean, white paper, such as computer or copy paper. Do not use printed paper as the print will transfer to the clay. Place a sheet of wax paper or foil over the top sheets of paper. Use a book as a weight on top of the papers. Within an hour you will see the surface of the paper looking "oily." This is plasticizer being "leached out." Usually this only takes a couple of changes of the paper and the clay is the perfect consistency. Some artists prefer very stiff clay, and they continue the process several times.
Payment
All payments are done through paypal and credit cards. I will ship within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.

Etsy does not give shop owners access to payment methods so I can not see how you paid or why your payment was not processed.
Shipping
PLEASE understand that once your package is marked “Accepted” by the USPS, we no longer have any control over it. Please don't blame us for any poor service the USPS may provide.

All packages are shipped via USPS Mail! All are insured with tracking with the exception of over seas shipping.

For over seas orders please be aware that even though I will prep and ship your order within the 1-3 day window I cannot guarantee a delivery date. Once your package is in the postal service hands I no longer have control over it. Most packages do arrive with in 10 days but this is not guaranteed. All taxes, duties, and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. If an order is returned to me labelled "unclaimed" this means that you, the customer did not pay the duties and customs fees to retrieve the order and therefore it was sent back. I will refund the cost of the items of the order only but your refund will not include the amount spent to originally send the shipment. The return of your items will not result in a refund to me for the shipping label therefore I will not have it to refund back to you.

Shipping is calculated by Etsy based on an estimated weight of all your items added together. If shipping ends up costing less than you paid, the difference will be refunded. If you order more than one item and the shipping is less than you paid, a refund of the difference will be issued.

We ship no less than 5 days per week and most orders will ship in 1 to 2 business days. The cut off time for shipping is 8 am EST the PREVIOUS day. Any order placed after 8am EST will be processed and shipped with the next shipment. Multiple orders not placed in time to ship together will retain the separate shipping fees.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE: Orders scheduled to be dropped off on a USPS holiday will be dropped off the next business day.

We ship to the address you provide to Etsy because we use Etsy shipping labels. You will receive a shipping notification via email once your shipping label has been printed. The address pre-populates during processing and we do not see or have access to any old addresses on your account. If your order gets sent to the wrong address due to customer input error, we can not be held responsible for replacements or refunds.

PACKAGES MARKED DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED
USPS delivery vehicles use GPS that can automatically update a package as "delivered" prematurely. Please wait at least 4 business days, as the package could have been marked as delivered by mistake, and will arrive soon.

You can contact your local USPS post office. Make sure you contact your LOCAL post office, and not the USPS hotline. Your local post office will be able to provide quicker, and better service. Ask who delivered the package, and ask for the details of that day's delivery. USPS is used to these questions, and will generally provide helpful information.

ASC Supplies does not cover service errors, including loss, theft, or postal/shipping issues. Further, ASC Supplies cannot reimburse OR re-ship orders that were mis-delivered by the post office or stolen from a property. If the package still does not show up, please call USPS to start an investigation for the package. “Claims” filed with USPS only cover damaged or lost items. They will not reimburse for a package marked as delivered but an investigation CAN be opened as to its exact location. Thank you for understanding!


When ordering multiple items with free shipping, we will place them all in one package in order to cut down on the shipping costs on our end. This will help us to continue to offer free shipping on these items.

*All fragile items are bubble wrapped and nestled in recycled shredded paper or kraft paper.

Why is shipping so high and will it really cost that much to ship my order?

When will my order be shipped?

Why did my order go to the wrong address?

We ship to the address you provide to Etsy because we use Etsy shipping labels. You will receive a shipping notification via email once your shipping label has been printed. My order should have been here already. Why hasn’t it been delivered?

Covid-19 is impacting shipping times on both domestic and international orders. There is a shortage of transportation and there are millions of packages sitting in warehouses around the world waiting for transport. We appreciate your continued patience and support and know that we are doing our part to get your orders processed and shipped within a day or 2 of it being placed. From there, it is in the hands of USPS to get it to you. Priority and first class packages are experiencing extreme delays at this time.

Tracking for my order shows “delivered” but it has not been delivered. What do I do now?

USPS delivery vehicles use GPS that can automatically update a package as "delivered" prematurely. Please wait at least 4 business days, as the package could have been marked as delivered by mistake, and will arrive soon.

You can contact your local USPS post office. Make sure you contact your LOCAL post office, and not the USPS hotline. Your local post office will be able to provide quicker, and better service. Ask who delivered the package, and ask for the details of that day's delivery. USPS is used to these questions, and will generally provide helpful information.

Why hasn’t my tracking updated for several days?

We have noticed an increase in this type of scenario over the last year or so. Most of the time, the package will magically appear within 7-10 days of a tracking freeze. We do not know why this happens but we appreciate your patience and understanding that we have no control over this.

Why did my orders all ship in one package?

When ordering multiple items with free shipping, we will place them all in one package in order to cut down on the shipping costs on our end. This will help us to continue to offer free shipping on these items.

My order was over $75. Why was I charged for shipping?

Your order will automatically qualify for free shipping when your SUBTOTAL is over $75. If you have $75 in your cart and your order still shows a shipping charge, please check to make sure you are over $75 AFTER all clearance price discounts have been deducted. The $75 subtotal also does not count shipping costs.

Example: If your total is $100 and you receive a $40 discount from sale items, then are charged $17 for shipping, your subtotal is $60 NOT $77 and therefore the order will not qualify for free shipping.

Why did the sale price go away when I entered my 10% off coupon code?

Sale prices can not be combined with the 10% off monthly discount code. If you enter your code, it will cancel out the sale prices of 15%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and/or 50% off. If you would like to include items that are not included in a sale category, we encourage you to place 2 separate orders so that you can use your 10% off code on non sale items.

As long as your 2nd order is placed before we process the 1st order for shipment, we will gladly combine the orders and refund any shipping overages charged. Please see “When will my order be shipped?” for shipping dates and times.

Why hasn’t anyone responded to my message on Etsy?

During business hours Monday - Friday 8am-6pm EST, we usually try to respond to messages within a couple of hours. Evenings and weekends may take a bit longer or until the following business day to respond. This is because we do work very hard and long hours during the week in order to provide the best possible customer service and fast shipping times. We really appreciate being able to spend evenings and weekeds with our families. We appreciate your patience during these times.
