Embroidered Portraits, Printmaking & Illustration
I spent several years working with printmaking, illustration and tattoo design but have switched focus to fine art and creating embroidered graphite drawings on paper. While I do not come from a textile background, the inclusion of embroidery and beading to my drawings was derived from a desire for something more challenging and different by adding an extra dimension of texture, colour and depth.
