About

Hand Formed Polymer Clay Whimsical Jewellery that Intertwine with an Organic Natural Textures Theme

MY CREATIVE THEMES: The weird, wired, and whimsical abound in my designs! The concepts behind my creations tend to run along the industrial, primitive, grunge, brut, and naive in influence. Nature plays a huge roll in my photography so it is of no surprise that natural, organic, free form, simple sculpted shapes drive and dominate my clay designs.
My jewellery will speak to your quirky side, is unusual, and is always comment evoking. Wear it casually or wear it to work!

MY MATERIALS: The polymer clay items found in my shop are all born from my own concepts and are created using only artist quality clay, embellishments, and sealers. I am fond of the industrial theme and use many pieces of stainless steel hardware as well as scrap book craft metal pieces, and unusual metal items in my clay designs.

MY STORY: I began working in polymer clay in the early 90s, making funky industrial materials influenced jewellery (some of which I still wear), and using interference metallic powders on the clay designs then baking and clear coating. I sold them in person to co-workers, friends and family.
In about 2006, being an avid pool player playing in the CPA league in Durham Region, Ontario, an idea came to me. I could not find good coloured and numbered pool ball beads or charms that suited my idea, so I began tediously hand making them while my husband drilled the tiny holes for me in the cured beads. Born were my pool ball related anklets, after which I moved into creating pool player themed pendants and funky linked figure pendants, which I successfully sold through the popular auction site called eBay. Now you are able to find them exclusively in my Etsy shop!

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

I am able to accept personalized or custom orders, but am unable to offer refunds on either. Cancellations are accepted only if requested within a 12 hour period after ordering.

Sizing details

My sizes are described as accurate as possible. Questions are always welcome. Lengths of necklaces can be altered upon request, upon purchasing, in most cases.

Care instructions

Polymer clay is not harmed by water, but some of the finishes and clear coats, as well as the metal pieces, can be, over time. It is recommended that cleaning solutions are not used, clay pieces are not worn into hot tubs, pools, and not repeatedly in the shower.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I am happy to gift wrap, or add personal notes, if requested, within reason. Sorry, I will not send anything anonymously from a buyer to their recipient, upon receiving such requests, under any circumstances.

Wholesale availability

Wholesale is not really a possibility for my pieces, as most are one of a kind, and some of my supplies are antique, upcycled, and limited.

Is My Jewellery Safe for Children?

My jewellery and accessories are not recommended for young children.

Why is My Shipping Expensive?

I ship your purchase tracked and insured. I only charge what it costs me to ship from Canada to your location so that your package is shipped safely to you. It is $16.00+ Canadian minimum, to ship tracked small packages to US addresses. So, as you can work out yourself, my shipping is generally undercharged.
I do not charge extra for handling or packing materials, and I make no profit at all on the shipping I charge.
