About AspenLeafKnits
Hi, my name is Ginny! My mom taught me to crochet and knit when I was 13, in addition to sewing, embroidery, latch hooking. etc. I continued to crochet (more often than knitting) throughout the years because I found it more enjoyable. In 2017 I broke both of my wrists and was in casts for 5 weeks, completely dependent on my family to do EVERYTHING for me. After the casts came off, I found the knitting needles and decided that it would be good therapy for both wrists (in addition to physical therapy) to start knitting. I have fallen in love all over again with this medium, I love the way the needles dance in unison with the strands of yarn to create beautiful and delightful pieces. I’m so thankful to my mom for teaching me this invaluable life skill that I am using to bring joy to my family and friends!
