Welcome to Aspen Leaves Designs!

I have a college degree in Environmental and Regulatory Science, with the major in dealing with Hazardous Chemicals, and a minor is Safety and Health Management.

Pictures of finished products are taken on my deck in the backyard, or on my front porch. I have some nice views for you to see in the background. I think it also lets you see the color and how your items will look in their natural habitats.

Fabric is pre washed and dried before I use it, so that there wont be any shrinking surprises for you.

I don't take custom orders. Even though I live in a decent sized area in Northwest Arkansas, most items I need aren't available locally so I order online. I prefer not to send possible buyers to my suppliers websites. I grab supplies from several places, including countries outside the US, designer sites, and some local stores, and Internet stores. Sometimes a fabric is only available in limited quantities, and making more or customizing is not an option. Also, as trends or fashions change, my supplies change, preventing alterations. Frequently asked questions
When will my order ship?

*Ready made items ship within 24 hours of being ordered, excluding Sundays and holidays.
*Steering wheel covers normally ship within 24 hours of you order being placed, but no longer than 3 days after. Steering wheel covers are made to order to suit what you need. *Please note that shipping times may be slower during the Christmas holidays.
*My shipping time is the same, no matter where you live. Delivery time is up to the postal system. However, if you haven't received your order in 2 weeks for the US and 3 weeks for Canada, please let me know. (Notice that delivery times can take longer during holidays.)

Steering wheel cover sizing

Pictures are provided in each listing showing how to measure. It will take 5 minutes at the most to do this. I know this is a hassle, but my covers are made to fit your car so you don't get a cover that slides around while you drive. I don't make a one size fits all.

General sizing information is provided for you from previous orders that I have made. These are suggestions. Toyota is well known to me for having a non-generic size steering wheel!

I don't want to say, that if you buy the wrong size, you are stuck with it, because we all hate that. However, because my covers are custom to your car, it's virtually impossible to resell a returned order. Plus, it takes even longer for you to enjoy your cover if the sizing is wrong.

Returns

*You'll need to let me know that you are returning, before you send it back.
* Contact me within 3 days and have it back to me in 14 days. You must immediately return with tracking. If your return is lost there will be no refund.
*A return must be in New and Unused condition. Sure, you can try it on, but you will know right away if the wrong size was ordered.
*You absolutely must send the original cover back to me to get a refund or repair. You can't walk into a store anywhere and tell them you want a refund without the original to give back. I am no different.
*All returns, and refunds MUST be finalized within 20 days after the original order was placed. It can't show up weeks after you asked for a return.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I don't provide gift wrapping. All orders are packaged in a fun cellophane bag with care instructions included. This is year around, not just at Christmas time. I do have a cello bag with party streamers on it. I try to use these for gift packages, but sometimes I forget. However, your package will always be shipped in a decorated cellophane bag. (Sorry guys, my bags are mostly girly!)

Gift notes are automatically printed out on a 'gift card' styled piece of paper designed by Etsy. If you include a note, the recipient will get it. Please, sign your name! I will have no clue who sent them the gift, if they ask me.

Custom and personalized orders

*I don't offer personalized orders. I don't have a machine that will add words or letters to your order.

*I also don't take custom orders. --- This means, I don't take requests to make something in a special size or color for you. I've done this in the past, and it just didn't work for my shop.

*******I don't make children's items. Federal restrictions, testing, and approval are strict for these items. I don't make or sell enough to go through this long, paperwork filled process! If you're asking me to make you something in a childs size, I will refuse, as penalties for selling without approval are expensive.

Don't be fooled by scam artists!

My handmade products can only be purchased here on Etsy, (Aspen Leaves Designs) or on my website. (AspenLeavesDesgns.com).

*If you bought it somewhere else, and paid either a much higher price, or a much lower price, it did not come from me. I am not responsible if you didn't get an item, or have problems, because you bought it from someplace else.

*If you don't have an receipt provided to you from Etsy or Pattern that says Aspen Leaves Designs on it, then you didn't buy from me, and I am unable to help you. I always send a packing slip / receipt with my orders.

Please beware. Scammers are everywhere.

Didn't get your package?

*Even though the USPS tracking shows a status of “delivered”, sometimes the tracking is not correct and it’s rare that a package is actually lost. Here are possible reasons and steps for you to research the missing package:

*Sometimes another household member received the package and placed it somewhere within the residence. It could also be with a neighbor.

*You can request the GPS coordinates of where the package was delivered at your local post office. The delivery driver's scanners have that information. So if for some reason it was left with the neighbor it can be tracked down.

I suspect my package was stolen.

You will need to file a Suspected Mail Theft Claim with your local post office. You might also want to file a “stolen mail” report with your local police so that there is a record of mail theft in your area.
