4 out of 5 starsA very beautiful and unique piece. it's not a very stable piece. It seemed more stable on our kitchen tile floor in our apartment but on carpet it is not stable enough. It also was uneven, as in higher on one end and lower on another or unleveled. My husband had to put something on the bottom of one of the legs to make it more stable and even. The glass also slides easily. I think for the price I payed, it shouldn't have these problems at all. I am unsure to use it as an end table for the reasons above but may use it as a reading table. It is still a stunning piece of work and I thoroughly enjoy looking at it and love how it has added to the rustic look of our apartment yet the glass adds a modern style to it as well and I love how it allows me to see all the aspen logs. Very beautiful! Just absolutely stunning. ❤️

-AspenSpirit... is a gallery of modern rustic accents for you home decor influenced by the Colorado rocky mountains, and their beloved trees, the aspen.
Living in the beautiful mountains of Colorado, and enjoying 4 months off a year allows me to seek outdoor hobbies to pass the long winters. In 2005 on one of my hikes, I took notice to a grove of twisted growth aspen that gave me some ideas on bringing the standing dead wood back to life to be something that would be artfull as well as functional.
I have been heavily influenced by all the rustic artists before me who relied on using the natural resources for their furnishings. You could say my style is rather simple where as the tree, the limb shapes, and their live edges are the soul of each piece.
My experience with hunting wood has taught me to choose wisely choosing standing dead specimens that are sturdy, and rich in character allowing me to create a piece of art that will stand the test of time.
