About

history, ornament and nature...

Inspired by historical ornament and cultural adornament each piece of jewelry is handcrafted in my studio in the heart of Renaissance Florence using traditional metalsmithing techniques with a focus on craftmanship and sustainability.

After growing up in a small town in Michigan I decided to head over to Italy to further my studies where I fell in love with the art of jewelry making, and the country not to mention a certain man. After many years of trying to juggle various part time jobs while making jewelry, I now have a studio along side a group of oldschool florentine goldsmiths in the center of the artisans district where artists have been creating work for centuries. I strive to create pieces by hand using only traditional techniques, so working along side other traditional artisans is a huge influence. Living in Italy along with the little gems of architecture, ornament and adornment I find on the way of my travels continuously inspire my work.
I love the past, anything antique and anything with a story and hope to create tiny little treasures that evoke these feelings, to be coveted and cherished.

I'm really proud to add that I have created a summer collection which was featured at Anthropologie for summer 2015.

Thank you for checking out my shop! All things are handmade in Italy by me. I use traditional techinques, and all my silver is recycled. I personally melt it down and hand roll it into sheet or pull it into wire. So not a bit of silver gets wasted. I've put a lot of love and good energy into my jewelry so enjoy!

Jewelry care:

First and most important, give your piece lots of love. Jewelry is special and meant to be past down.
I like things to look antique so I always use a patina to accent the details. Which means only use a cleaning cloth, never liquid cleaner!
Your jewelry was made for you to love and enjoy everyday. I hope it becomes one of those special pieces you never take off, but if you must store it, please store it in a plastic bag or closed container.
