Atiliay was born out of a desire to create a way for everyone to easily spread the love!

It started out as a fundraising idea I had for Valentine's Day 2013. What if I offered to send handmade cards for people and have each card provide a day's worth of meals to a preschool I sponsor in South Africa?

That January and February, I spent many days and late nights stamping cards, hand writing messages, and hand addressing envelopes in order to make over 300 Valentine's Day cards! It was so amazing to see the support and enthusiasm for the project and through these efforts, together we raised enough funds to provide meals for 60 children at The Ebongalethu Educare Center in SA with nutritious food for over a year!

I knew I wanted to keep that project going! It also helped me reconnect with my love for visual arts and showed me a way to present my art while supporting various non-profits in the USA and across the world.

I have always been a lover of words and in the past year fell in love with hand lettering! I think it's the perfect combination of being able to draw while expressing sentiments with the written word. In the shop you will find cards that combine my hand lettering with a clean typeface for a modern, fresh look.

Proceeds from every item in this shop goes to help support the work of groups that are relieving hunger, fighting poverty, providing education, assisting our furry friends, and so much more! Please see each individual listing for more details.

This is only the beginning and I am so excited to see what's up ahead and what we can accomplish together!
