Quick shipping although I wish the one I received had the pink ribbon attached to zipper, mine came with an ivory one and it just wasn't the pop like I loved from the picture but great quality!

I love the fabric choice for this Organize-It wallet, so I had to snap a pic before putting it in its package and sending it on its way. The multicolor feathers fabric can be requested for any made-to-order wallet or accessory.
So far I've completed four Divide-It wallet samples in the new fused leather--these and black. Five more to go! Look for the listing next week.

Envelope System Wallets that Put the Beauty in Budgeting!

In December 2010, I discovered laminated cotton for the first time and decided to try a tutorial I had found for an envelope system wallet, loving the fact that I could use beautiful designer fabric yet easily wipe it clean. It was my first time ever sewing in a zipper, and I was terrified. When the wallet was finished after hours of work, I breathed a huge sigh of relief that I was done and would never have to make one again. Or so I thought...

When friends saw my wallet and then I shared photos with my blog readers, I had people begging me to make them to sell! Since the tutorial gave permission to do so, I sold them first on a limited basis via my blog until I finally took the Etsy plunge in October 2011.

As of January 2013, I no longer make that particular style of wallet that started me on this journey. All of the items I now sell are my original design and the result of both using my own products and gleaning feedback from others who use them. I am always evaluating ways to improve and add to my product line so that it continues to meet the practical and aesthetic needs of my customers.

Since I am passionate about people living within their means and getting out of debt, I have intentionally designed several envelope systems along a spectrum of price points with the hope that each of my customers can find a product that fits her budget, appeals to her personal taste, and functionally suits her needs. My wallets and accessories are handmade by me using designer laminated cotton which is lightweight yet very durable, CPSIA compliant, and free of BPA, PVC, and phthalates.

If it is necessary to send back an item due to a mistake on my part, I will pay the return First Class postage and replace it at my expense. I will inevitably make a mistake from time to time, but I will make it right, so please contact me first rather than going straight to leaving feedback.

If you simply change your mind about your purchase, I will refund the original payment--minus the shipping portion--once I receive the item(s) back in new & unused condition with no stains, flaws, or odors, However, return postage will not be reimbursed.

There are no returns or exchanges of personalized items such as labels or customized items that vary from my typical product offerings unless I have made a mistake in completing the request(s). Sales of digital items are final.

Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of USPS-confirmed delivery of your package, and the item must be placed in the mail within 7 days of receiving my response. Since this time frame adequately allows for when "life happens" there can be no exceptions.

Please do not return an item without first having a conversation with me expressing your reason for initiating the return and receiving instructions regarding my return procedures. Items returned without prior approval will not be refunded or replaced.

Payment is due immediately. Sales tax will be added to orders placed by Washington state residents.

You will receive a receipt after purchase that includes a note from me at the bottom. Please read it since it contains important details!

Some of the items in the shop are either finished or just a step or two away from being ready to ship; others are made to order. Processing time is noted in the listing's Shipping tab

The scheduled shipping date is calculated based on the item in your order with the longest turnaround time, does not include weekends, and is found on your invoice.

All items I make weigh under 13 oz. and are sent via First Class Mail unless Priority Mail is chosen at checkout.


It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure the shipping address provided to me is up to date. Each order is shipped to the address shown on the invoice, so please carefully review your address when given the opportunity during checkout.

If an incorrect address shows on your invoice and you realize it before your order is shipped, contact me ASAP so that I can fix it when printing the label.

Packages returned to me as undeliverable due to an incorrect address on the invoice will be shipped a second time at the buyer's expense. I am not liable for packages that never make their way back to me when the address provided on the invoice is wrong.

Please use your home address or PO box for the address. There can be too many variables (large building, missing suite number, the business not being open, etc.) when a package is addressed to someone at their place of employment. I am not able to replace an order that is scanned as delivered by the USPS but gets misplaced or misdirected within the business and doesn't make it to the intended recipient.


It has become reasonable to expect First Class International packages to take as long as six weeks (and sometimes longer in certain countries) to be delivered, with no way of tracking those packages to many countries. Please be aware of this fact before ordering. If you do place an order, then I humbly ask that you remain patient and not panic regarding non-receipt unless 8 weeks have passed since the date it was mailed. Thank you for understanding that I have no control over any country's customs process or speed at which it delivers packages to their destination.

The buyer is responsible for all customs fees, taxes, and/or duties that may be assessed by her country of residence, so please become familiar with those before purchasing. I am unable to predict what these charges will be, but this site may be of help:

Under no circumstances will I mark "gift" on a customs form, since what I am mailing is merchandise. Even if you are giving it as a gift to someone else, it is not a gift from me, so it does not qualify.

I want to continue making my items available to international customers, and adherence to these policies will help to insure that I do. Thank you!

*Unfortunately, due to prior issues I am no longer able to ship packages to India or Brazil, and I also cannot fulfill orders to Italy since sewn articles of any kind are prohibited. How long will it take you to make my order?

Processing time depends on what you have purchased and does not include time in transit. It is the time from when the order is placed to when it is shipped.

~Divide-It Wallets shown with a picture of a finished product: 1-2 business days
~Divide-It, Zip-It, planner items, kids give-save-spend sets or trifolds, and accessories (all in choice of fabric): Up to 1 week
~Organize-It Wallets: 1-2 weeks

"Business days" are M - F (excluding holidays) rather than actual calendar days.

When will my order ship?
