Note from shop owner Hey friends! i will be out of town from July 29th-August 6th in a location with questionable internet, so i decided to put the shop into vacation mode until i got back. I will be jumping right back into the swing of things upon my return. If you have an order that you are waiting on, rest assured that it is well underway, and will be ready to send off quickly when i get back. Thanks so much!

About

I create work intended to encourage and inspire- both myself- and hopefully you!

i am an artist and stay at home mother of two awesome kids. i love to create things of beauty and i hope that something that i make will inspire someone. i feel like making art is a lot like prayer, and when i am working i feel as though i am meditating. i am pretty sure that this is what i am supposed to be doing.

i am inspired quite a lot by the Writings of the Baha'i Faith particularly, but also by the teachings and writings of many of the worlds religions, spiritual teachers and thinkers. i am inspired by mothers. i love nature. i grew up near the ocean and always feel drawn back to imagery of water and ocean life... biology in general. i am captivated by fractals. i am a citizen of the world and love to travel and learn about other cultures. much of my work draws inspiration from the art and handicrafts of aboriginal people around the world. i see color and pattern emerging in the art of all the cultures of the world- a common thread uniting.... patterns and rhythms echoing our collective heartbeats. One world. One people.

"...I am, o my God, but a tiny seed which Thou hast sown in the soil of Thy love... cause it to grow, therefore...."

Your payment is expected to be made at the time of your order. If you choose to pay with an e-Check via Paypal, your order will ship when the e-Check clears, usually within one week. If you pay with a personal check, your order will ship after i receive your check and it has cleared.

If you choose the Paypal payment option at checkout, please be sure to continue to follow the links to Paypal when you purchase. If you do not proceed to Paypal, your item is not paid for.

If you are not happy with your purchase after you have received your item, I will be happy to work with you to find a solution. Please do not leave feedback until we have had a chance to discuss a resolution together. Please see my Refund Policy below for additional information.
Shipping
I spend time and a great deal of care to ensure that my pieces are packaged carefully and responsibly. I re-use and recycle packaging materials when I can. I will only use packing materials that i believe to be sturdy enough and in good enough condition to product your purchases. It is my goal to be a responsible consumer and business person and I feel strongly about reducing my footprint when it comes to these materials. If this is a problem for any reason, please let me know.

In all of the years that I have been shipping my work around the world, i have had only one broken item. I learned from that instance and have not had any other breakage since that time!

I will ship your order to the address listed in your Etsy account, if you need your order shipped to another address let me know in the "Message to Seller" section during check-out. If you are purchasing a gift, please be sure to enter the correct shipping address during check out. If you would like a note included, enter that in the Notes to Seller along with any other special instructions or requests.

*****For domestic orders (USA):

I use USPS Priority Mail for all of my pottery, and USPS First Class Mail for prints, padded envelopes containing small pieces, stamps and jewelry. Please allow 2-14 days for the arrival of your purchase. If you have a specific deadline or require faster service, please let me know. If your order is for a print larger than the in-stock 8x10 size of an image, please allow an additional 2-3 weeks for delivery of your piece. These items are printed by an outside printing company and require a longer turnaround time.

*****For international orders:

International packages are shipped using International First Class Mail for items under 4 pounds or Priority International for heavier shipments. Please allow 2-4 weeks for the delivery of your international package.

You are responsible for all duty, customs, or any other charges imposed by your country above and beyond the USPS (United States Postal Service) postal charges that you already paid. These may be due when you pick up your package. For my part, I will be honest and forthright on customs forms.

Charges for international mail can be difficult to estimate. If there is a large shipping overage, I will refund the difference.

I do not include any sort of receipt or invoice in my packages as it is easy to print a copy for yourself from your Etsy page. If for some reason you need me to do this for you, I can happily do so- but this is another instance where i am trying to cut down on waste/ unnecessary use of materials.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want my customers to be pleased with their purchases. If you are unsatisfied sor some reason, please contact me right away. Refunds will be made upon the return of an item. Refunds will be in the amount of the price of the item only; Shipping costs will not be refunded.

If breakage occurs on an uninsured item, please let me know and I will work with your to rectify the situation. I may send a replacement or refund the purchase price.

If breakage occurs on an insured item, I will work with you to file the claim. The shipper should reimburse your loss and then you can decide whether to place a new order with me.

Custom orders and Made to Order items listed in my shop require a non-refundable deposit of at least 50% . I will work with you to be completely satisfied with your order, but refunds will not be given for buyers remorse. Please read all listings carefully for production times, and leave additional time for the shipment of your item (domestic 2-14 days, international 2-6 weeks).
